Fantastic work on all of this! It's incredible!

I do have one question in getting this to work...

I'm totally ok with letting the CPU handle trades for all other 29 teams, and I only want to control one. How can I play an association with one team while also keeping all players at their correct ages?
I know I can use RED MC to change the ages of all current players, but if I do that the ages of any new draft classes I use will be too young.

Roster file have all players with -3 years, so if you will start your own asso or season ages will advance by +3 and all will be correct. Remember that if you will choose to control only 1 team, all Cpu teams will change their starting lineups to 2k default lineup system, which is rly bad.
I wasnt sure about draft classes, if you want me to reduce their age also by -3 just let me know.

Funny, I tried that but the ages don't change when I start an association. They're still -3 in game. Anything special I have to do in the setup?

Not everything was fixed, if you dont have teams&dornas&logos from current parts, only from retro parts, your logos should be messed up.
Retro is not standalone mod, i seperated retro files from current files to give users choice. You want to use ONLY current roster, you must download ONLY current roster files. If you want to use retro, you must download ALL, current and retro files.

That's why the logos was messed up, and i fixed them yesterday

Hey URB family, I took the liberty of correcting all the colleges for almost all players in the URB Elite Roster. Don't know if anyone else noticed but almost all assigned schools were incorrect. I also switched out 1972 Elgin Baylor for 1965 Elgin Baylor on the Elite West All Star team. The link for the updated roster is posted below for all those who wish to download. I also included in the files some cf's that I had included in my personal files, just so there won't be any headless players in the roster. If by chance I missed any players, let me know and I will upload there iff files or, if you have access to RedMC, you can just plug in whatever file you prefer.

The home jerseys for the 82 Spurs should be the 84hsa file, away is correct though. Also, the 86 Celtics have the away jerseys assigned for both home and away, so obviously that needs to be corrected. The 74 Celtics should have the same jerseys as the 86 Celtics assigned to them. I believe that addresses all jersey fixes, but I was also wondering Sko if you could add some of the alternate jerseys that you left off. Ballaboi, In the 1996 roster Bulls team already has alternate black pinstripe jersey. If you mean 1996 Bulls team in Elite Roster then they don't have alternate black pinstripe jersey.

Let me start this off with saying I mean no disrespect Sko, because I could NEVER do all that you do with this mod, and I am a big fan of your work. With that said you need to lighten up bro. All I did I was edit the school ids for one Ros. file, because they were numbered incorrectly due to the fact there were additional fictional schools included in that particular file. For example... Def Jam U, Hard Knox, Dunk You Very Much U, etc... Don't know why that it is, but I can say the same is true with the All Star Roster file as well, which I also manually edited. In no way though was I trying to undermine your work or step on your toes by fixing and releasing it. Figure you had more pressing things with the mod to deal with than that.

As far as the cf misunderstanding goes, I have not found any seasons/roster files with missing cfs. I was stating that because I had inserted specific png files for the roster I was using, I was including those iff files because those are what were assigned in the ROS file I edited, and most are not already included in the URB files. That obviously would result in missing cfs for anyone who downloaded it, and tried playing that roster. Now there were 3 or 4 png files that were already included that I edited and threw in there, such as png0870, which is young Julius Erving. The reason I did that is because I replaced his body/arms with the original Dr. J's body/arms so they went with his face better. The png0870 file you were using was from the black arm fix for 2k13 of hidden legends that were already in the game. Which didn't really match up the skin tones, just got rid of the super dark arms (which Coach Del Negro still has by the way). The other png files I added are NOT currently in the URB anywhere. They include, for example, Amare Stoudemire without goggles for 2007, since he didn't start wearing goggles until 2009, Horace Grant for the Magic with his blue goggles, Young Toni Kukoc for 96 Bulls, Maurice Cheeks with moustache for 83 Sixers, Mullet Larry Bird for 86 Celtics, etc.... So I'm really not seeing where the problem is or why the hostility towards my post.

Which brings me to the other suggestions I made, which were just that... SUGGESTIONS. If you don't want to add Pitino, or any other missing coach for that matter, ok. That's your decision, it's your mod. I can send you a Pitino cf if you're willing to assign it. As far as portaits go, I'll be honest I have no idea how to do that, not that skilled of modder. Again, I can send you a portraits file with Pitino's portrait in it if you want to extract and include. If not, fine... again it's your mod. Same goes for the extra year specific jerseys, just suggestions. However, the 96 Bulls Black Pinstripe, 17 Cavs Dark Blue Cavfanatic, and 15 & 17 Warriors Black sleeved jerseys were there alternates technically.

Skoadam I agree with you about jerseys. In rosters home and away and if needs and alternate jerseys is totally fine. 2 or 3 jerseys is fine alternate jersey depends if team had it in specific year. No need any special or extra jerseys in rosters at all.

Additionally, some important teams are forgotten in elite roster. For example 13Heat (The Champion), 09 Orlando and Cleveland, 06 Dallas (The Finalist), 05 Spurs (The Champion), 04 Minesota etc important teams...

Sir skoadam, I have an idea for a roster. How about like a best iteration of a franchise based on the SRS, like the 1994-95 Charlotte Hornets and the 2006-07 Houston Rockets.

But all those teams are on the final roster base, man. Elite (I guess) are way less teams, but in the roster base all those teams are there.

I don't usually speak for Sko, but I don't think he was trying to be a jerk. The amount of files in this mod is RIDICULOUS and if users start to add small packages like the one you did, it can become a massive mess very quickly. I would recommend any users talk to him via PM about adding additional files or modding current files so we can maintain the structural integrity of the mod. He and I GREATLY appreciate the work that others have put into this mod but there is a systematic way that we have put it together and we need to keep it that way.

I was stating that because I had inserted specific png files for the roster I was using, I was including those iff files because those are what were assigned in the ROS file I edited, and most are not already included in the URB files. That obviously would result in missing cfs for anyone who downloaded it, and tried playing that roster. Now there were 3 or 4 png files that were already included that I edited and threw in there, such as png0870, which is young Julius Erving. The reason I did that is because I replaced his body/arms with the original Dr. J's body/arms so they went with his face better. The png0870 file you were using was from the black arm fix for 2k13 of hidden legends that were already in the game. Which didn't really match up the skin tones, just got rid of the super dark arms (which Coach Del Negro still has by the way). The other png files I added are NOT currently in the URB anywhere. They include, for example, Amare Stoudemire without goggles for 2007, since he didn't start wearing goggles until 2009, Horace Grant for the Magic with his blue goggles, Young Toni Kukoc for 96 Bulls, Maurice Cheeks with moustache for 83 Sixers, Mullet Larry Bird for 86 Celtics, etc.... So I'm really not seeing where the problem is or why the hostility towards my post.

Which brings me to the other suggestions I made, which were just that... SUGGESTIONS. If you don't want to add Pitino, or any other missing coach for that matter, ok. That's your decision, it's your mod. I can send you a Pitino cf if you're willing to assign it. As far as portaits go, I'll be honest I have no idea how to do that, not that skilled of modder. Again, I can send you a portraits file with Pitino's portrait in it if you want to extract and include. If not, fine... again it's your mod. Same goes for the extra year specific jerseys, just suggestions. However, the 96 Bulls Black Pinstripe, 17 Cavs Dark Blue Cavfanatic, and 15 & 17 Warriors Black sleeved jerseys were there alternates technically.

I am playing this mod but there is some mistakes in the elite roster... For example all elite teams fans (crowds) are wrong colour and wearing wrong team shirts... Especially some of old elite teams arenas (courts) are wrong... In elite roster some of teams players positions and rotastions is wrong, for example 2014 Spurs Leonard is PG, Tim Duncan is SF, Belinelli is C, Diaw is PF, Tony Parker is not in first 5 etc... I request you to fix this mistakes in elite roster.

Additionally, some important teams are forgotten in elite roster. For example 13Heat (The Champion), 09 Orlando and Cleveland, 06 Dallas (The Finalist), 05 Spurs (The Champion), 04 Minesota etc important teams...

Ok guys....you rly think that i missed wrong crowd? Well, im not. You must understand that some things cant be done. In this case, answer yourself first. Do you want to play season/asso without crashes? or you prefer correct crowd. Which part is more important. For me its obvious that free from ctd is better than wrong crowd. Clear? Great.

I thought i fixed Spurs rotations. I did in 2k13 for sure, i will check 2k14. Btw. you said teams have wrong rotation, any other you can point?


Forgotten teams? Nope, not forgot, it was OUR decission. Its Elite, elite mean Elite, we dont want to have all Spurs teams 99, 03, 05, 07 and 12 Spurs. 3 Spurs teams for one roster is enough. We dont want to have 13 Heat if we already have '12. For sake, we dont want to spam this roster.

Hey URB family, I took the liberty of correcting all the colleges for almost all players in the URB Elite Roster. Don't know if anyone else noticed but almost all assigned schools were incorrect. I also switched out 1972 Elgin Baylor for 1965 Elgin Baylor on the Elite West All Star team. The link for the updated roster is posted below for all those who wish to download. I also included in the files some cf's that I had included in my personal files, just so there won't be any headless players in the roster. If by chance I missed any players, let me know and I will upload there iff files or, if you have access to RedMC, you can just plug in whatever file you prefer.

Sko, hopefully you will download the ros file, and edit some of the jerseys assigned in the roster. I know the incorrect jerseys for the 2007 Phoenix Suns has already been addressed. The home jerseys for the 82 Spurs should be the 84hsa file, away is correct though. Also, the 86 Celtics have the away jerseys assigned for both home and away, so obviously that needs to be corrected. The 74 Celtics should have the same jerseys as the 86 Celtics assigned to them. I believe that addresses all jersey fixes, but I was also wondering Sko if you could add some of the alternate jerseys that you left off. Like the black pinstripe jerseys for the 1996 Bulls, the 2006 heat black miami floridians throwbacks, the 2012 heat "black out" jerseys, the 2015 white and black sleeved jerseys, the 2017 Cavs dark blue fanatic and Orange throwback jerseys, and the 2017 Warriors black sleeved and chinese new year jerseys. Not that it's a big deal, but the 2004 Pistons assigned red alternate jersey was not worn until 2006, so that's inaccurate.

ps. i checked your zip file. First thing, please never release some fixes, please. I mean, i checked your first 3 png files. PNG0870 is inside part#6 of retro. PNG0242 and PNG0314 is not even in Elite, so my question is why you put them there? Also because you were using your PNG numbers are you sure you didnt use PNG number from my different roster? its best way to overwrite other files or use png numbers from my future release.

Let me start this off with saying I mean no disrespect Sko, because I could NEVER do all that you do with this mod, and I am a big fan of your work. With that said you need to lighten up bro. All I did I was edit the school ids for one Ros. file, because they were numbered incorrectly due to the fact there were additional fictional schools included in that particular file. For example... Def Jam U, Hard Knox, Dunk You Very Much U, etc... Don't know why that it is, but I can say the same is true with the All Star Roster file as well, which I also manually edited. In no way though was I trying to undermine your work or step on your toes by fixing and releasing it. Figure you had more pressing things with the mod to deal with than that.

I don't usually speak for Sko, but I don't think he was trying to be a jerk. The amount of files in this mod is RIDICULOUS and if users start to add small packages like the one you did, it can become a massive mess very quickly. I would recommend any users talk to him via PM about adding additional files or modding current files so we can maintain the structural integrity of the mod. He and I GREATLY appreciate the work that others have put into this mod but there is a systematic way that we have put it together and we need to keep it that way.

Slimm and Sko, I understand and trust me I will NEVER post an edited file again. However, I do still believe it's an overreaction. Again, all I edited was the schools assigned to the players, because they were incorrect. Plus I changed the Elgin Baylor on the Elite All Star Team (because it seemed that 94 rated Elgin Baylor, went better with the rest of the players on both teams, then 73 rated Elgin Baylor). I did not due a huge modification or overhaul of the roster. I added some year specific cfs for my own personal use, that I decided to share so the iff files in the roster matched up. Let me say that I NEVER overwrite any files in the game!! Before I assign a cf not already included in the game, I literally scan the entire URB files to make sure the png# is available. I understand the complexity of this mod, and would never jeopardize it on my own end, and especially not in a file I post for the community! But, point taken and you do not have to worry about it ever happening again. I will leave all corrections to the professionals in the future.
