So the other players portraits changes but not the rookies, how do get the rookie portraits to change?

open "option.ini" (or canshu.ini) in your 2K folder and change Qiangzhizhaopian=0 to Qiangzhizhaopian=1

I did that but when i open the game a error message in chinese pops up and the rookie portraits doesn't change. Any idea?

i used the external file plugin from this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3KzCznE9Fw and moved my mods to the "waigua" folder. you could try that to fix player portraits

put these files in your 2k folder, overwrite everything. delete "option.ini" if its there. rename "Modded" folder to "waigua"

I can save portrait, I can edit portrait but when I see what I replaced in 2k explorer it' s cool. Everythink is woriking, but in game I can' t see the portrait, like it disapeard, empty, nothink is here.
Can u tell me what I am doing wrong, or which program I have to use (using Paint.net) or how to save this photo, which 2k18 will see.

Yes i saved this into modded folder and replaced for D.Wade portrait with chr_r1017_a1.iff format

I know how to do it, everythink as u can see in my post which I edited (screens). But 2k18 is not reading this photo or it' s not visible. My question is How and why 2k is not seeing photo and show me transparent field










I have polish version of program cause I am from Poland and it will be easier but you can see that I did everythink good and have transparent photo in game

are you trying to put the portrait back together using the explorer? If so don't do that.

Name your dds file chr_r1017_a1.7b8ee2026ecc645f.dds (or whatever just this example of wade)
Place your chr_r1017_a1.7b8ee2026ecc645f.dds file and chr_r1017_a1.TXTR file together in a folder named chr_r1017

Then use 7zip to make those two into a zip file. Rename the file from chr_r1017_a1.zip to chr_r1017_a1.iff

Place in modded

are you trying to put the portrait back together using the explorer? If so don't do that.

Name your dds file chr_r1017_a1.7b8ee2026ecc645f.dds (or whatever just this example of wade)
Place your chr_r1017_a1.7b8ee2026ecc645f.dds file and chr_r1017_a1.TXTR file together in a folder named chr_r1017

Then use 7zip to make those two into a zip file. Rename the file from chr_r1017_a1.zip to chr_r1017_a1.iff

I did it ! It is working. I had to export WIHTOUT GOIND TO --> options --> show iff editor.. Just export archive.. Wow
