If I wanted to make the mask black for Kyrie would I have to change the .dds file to a black texture?

Nah you have to edit facemask file

No... at least not in a copy/paste way that would make it possible to maintain all the proportions of the default body model. YG13 didn't transfer the mask to Kyrie's body; he sort of did the opposite, actually.

Wait then why does he have loose .DDS files in the masked Kyrie zip file? I added a face mask shader to my hihead.SCNE as well but it still doesn’t work

I can't answer your first question. As for the other one, models won't work if you change vertex groups or the number of vertices in a model, so you can't add the 3D model of a mask to another model. A simple text addition by itself has no effect, since it uses the 3D content as a base. For what you want to achieve, you have to use one of the five or six models in the game files that already have facemasks by default and then use the Shrinkwrap tool and/or do some 3d editing in blender to make the chosen model look more like the one from the player you want wearing the mask.

My bad that loose files supposed to be in global.iff file its just a file to remove the carbon effect from the mask
