Yes it is POSSIBLE. But we have not found the values in memory.

EVERYONE PLEASE NOTE
It is possible to change almost every aspect of player data, stadium data, jersey data, and more with cheat engine.
WE just need to find the values in the memory.
Any body can figure this stuff out but a lot of people have limited time, this is why we are sharing our findings.
You can help to. Just read through all the post and start learning about cheat engine and finding values in the memory.

Can you switchcurrent jerseys to classic ones?for example the 07 houston jersey so that when istart a game it is auto selected. Also the classic wolves jersey

I think and I hope we can focus on player cloning using CE...this would be a HUUUGE help in terms of retro roster possibility....

I added the correct dropdown lists for Jumpshots I and Jumpshots II menus in the player edit cheat menu.

...I was editing colors with CE...having this table helps a lot!!!

Just a question.....how we can assign jersey GID to a team? (if we can....) ...I mean I want to assign jersey to a hidden team....is it possible?

I think it is possible. I just have to implement GID on the teams table, I guess. I'll have a look into it later.

so far the teams that I've changed up, the socks color is off by like one byte like it needs shifted back one byte I think

so many damn jerseys.

I have organized the Jerseys into groups by the GID.

I believe Teams table will have two GIDs (testing now). I think this is because when you add a custom jersey set in myleague , they replace the current jerseys only.



EDIT:
NBA Nike Jersey GIDs appear to begin at GID 812

Also I think the main set of jerseys used by teams does not reference GID but still testing

My question is if we could add jerseys to a hidden and all time teams. It would allow us to have more slots for new teams no? Thanks

You can add jerseys to any team

I will have a tutorial later tonight... too many distractions holding me back right now at home

Yes, you can add jerseys but they're not unique. There's only a limited amount to use, and they're used by other teams. We can change things but we can't add things, kind like how adding team slots is impossible considering we can't decrypt the roster files and can only edit in memory. We can enable team slots that are hidden but we'll never be able to add more than what is already there.

I see, thanks mate. I will wait to the The Goods´s tutorial. I would like to change the jerseys for the all time teams bcs they use the same files that the current teams.

That's irrelevant. I'm trying to tell him we can't add more than what is already there, he hasn't seemed to get that yet... until now at least.

There are unused slots for teams as well.

While what you are saying is true, there's no practical difference between adding a new slot and using an unused one (slots where the team name is ************, which were present on last gen as well). However, because there are only 14 ************ team slots, of course it isn't possible to reproduce something like the UBR project or anything similar. Nevertheless, adding up to 14 new teams is possible without replacing any aspect of the game. Probably with their own GID too, but that has to be tested yet.

The real problem though, as far as I know, is that the game isn't going to load files that aren't registered on the manifest file. Even if we could add new slots, we still wouldn't be able to name a stadium like Swhatever.iff on the memory (or on a hypothetical roster editor) because that name isn't present in the manifest, so it wouldn't be loaded.

So, for instance, if we want to make a roster overhaul with jerseys, arenas, floors and so on, we must replace files that are already used by the game, unfortunately. This is one of the fundamental differences between last and current gen when it comes to roster editing.

I hope Shuajota understands the problem now.

How would I start to try and find the ID for warmup outfits? I'm trying to convert the 76ers to the '16 Cavs and this is one of the last things I need to fix

Last year there were specific bytes for that as well. If I manage to find those for NBA 2k18 I'll add them to the jerseys table.

Do you have the table that had the id for warmups last year so I can get an idea of where to look for them?

Found the Array of bytes responsible for the speceial "Jersey Type" names
