[Tutorial] How to convert 2k17 jerseys in 2k18 jerseys models

Postby Shuajota on Thu Sep 21, 2017 1:38 am

Hello to everyone, these days I´m not at home and Im writting using my phone. I found an interesting thing. We can convert 2k17 jerseys in 2k18 jerseys model. Just we have to edit the RDAT and delete the word "NIKE", so we will have something like:
"JERSEY TYPE": "v_neck", or u_neck, etc.
You have to import renaming the files: jersey color, normal and region. The shorts have to be edited using the 2k18 template.
Important note: You will have to use the clothing files from 2k17.
Testing pics (You will appreciate like I deleted the famous Nike cut in the back):

I hope it works for you guys. This will save time for us!

In case anyone wondered, this is just a tutorial on swapping the Nike jersey models with the 2K17 old models so nothing huge here.

Does this mean we can use your tight jersey from 2k17?

No, Shuajota just figured out how to change the Nike jersey model to the model that classic team/throwback jerseys use. We've known this for awhile, but this is still useful for other people if they ever wanted to know.

And you call this a tutorial? :D Sorry, but I don't understand nothing. Maybe explain it more in details?
