Hi all and happy 2k18 Modding to everyone

My SFX mod works on 2k18 so I'm gonna share the link again here....just be sure to use the plugin with "Modded" folder for 2k18

This will update in-game sound effects with more realistic one...here is the patch notes:

SFX Mod 2.0 Released!

- Totally redone Ball <-> Rim SFX (med and soft bounces)
- New Ball <-> Floor SFX (hard and soft bounces)
- New Ball <-> Net SFX
- Fix a problem on Lakers SFX
- Added a new Dunk SFX (I will focus on this in later releases FYI)

Nice! I was using one of your previous versions for the 2k17. Sounds a lot like those mid-2000's MSG rim sounds, and I love it.

Great mod again this year! I love it! Really adds life to the game.
Only thing I would like is a more distinct net noise, when you make a basket with nothing but net. A more distinct "swoosh" sound would be good.

I've plan to upgrade the Sound Mod to match my Retro Roster.....has anybody some good sample from lat 90's - early 2000's rim / ball / dunk SFX?
Audio must be clear and "isolatable"....low background noise....

Are we able to mod the music in 2k18 as well?

You can edit the arena music and other sounds. Unfortunately, you cannot edit jukebox music but apart from that you can change almost any sound in the game
