Reason I'm asking is because me and a ton of players are running away in droves from the PC. The cheaters are killing the platform.

I played a lot of 2K Pro-Am on PS4 last year; 500 games, in fact. I prefer to keep the PC version for single player, for obvious reasons that I'm sure you know all too well. ;)

I purchased NBA2k18 last night off of Steam (I'm in Canada). Nowhere did it mention a release date. There was no September 19th and no early tip-off for September 15th either. So now I'm officially confused.

How do I know that I am supposed to get an early-tip off? lol

Don't quite sure for pre download time frame but on nba2k18 Twitter official has this info:

ESRB Rating: E10+. Pre-Order #NBA2K18 for PlayStation 4, XBOX One, Nintendo Switch, PS 3, XBOX 360 & PC to get it 4 days early on 9/15

So, maybe let wait for this Friday to see what will happen.
I'm also made a preorder on Steam already.

I really enjoyed the prelude gameplay (Not sure if you watched my video), I am entertaining playing online a little more.

It's just so hard to find time in between making rosters, especially when the game is first released.

You guys are awesome for doing the rosters. I remember back in the day downloading Andrew and Tim's rosters. It was the only way to update trades and performance. Gonna miss this aspect of the game going to console.

LOL for sure! Online has grown on me. I always used to be a single player guy for games because there are too many immature foul-mouthed teens, cheaters, and cheesers online. But when you find the right group of teammates, it's a beautiful thing. You win and lose together.

Looking forward to running a lot more pro am this year. It was mostly empty on PC in 2k17.

Thanks. Honestly, If I was on console.. I would play more online. But with the modding capabilities on PC, and how into retro NBA I am, I just can't find time. If I get around to it this year I will contact you.

Always flattered to hear my old rosters getting a mention!

I should point out however that SkillzFromThe6 for one is making some great roster updates for the PS4 version, and there are people doing the same on X1. The console versions miss out on all the custom art updates, but there are people doing some great work with custom rosters, so if you're on console this year, definitely check them out. (Y)

So does mine, it must be at midnight EST. Wasn't there a predownload available last year, where you could install it beforehand?

Is this on Steam? I don't see a date on mine. I purchased on Sunday.

Unless they shock us, they'll roll out the preload 1 day before release just like last year, because consoles will always get priority.

Still waiting for my key. Hopefully comes through today so I can start pre-loading. Otherwise, I'll definitely be checking out the PS4 version first.

In fact, with download speeds being what they are in Australia, I wouldn't be surprised if I end up doing that anyway. One of the reasons I double dip.

So I've been occasionally checking the steam store page, and earlier it was scheduled for 11pm tomorrow night, now it's scheduled for 1pm on the 15th. I don't know why that changed all of a sudden.

I remember last year the midnight release was rocky and getting them to care about this stuff is difficult, people were tweeting at them about it to ronnie/ld2k, took em awhile to unlock it earlier.

Edit: yeah, going by steamdb 2 hours ago it changed: https://steamdb.info/app/577800/history/

I'm telling y'all, they don't want 2K on PC and are doing anything they can do ruin the experience.

2K have only ever promoted September 15th (Early Tip-Off Weekend) and September 19th (street date). If other sources are reporting inaccurate dates or changing information due to miscommunication, that's on those other sources.

2K tweeted out 12am (9/15/17) release date via ALL digital platforms. Apparently, if you have the pre-load already you should be getting at the tweeted out date instead of the Steam store page release time.

Still seems like a mix-up, rather than a malicious effort on anyone's part.

No CD Key seller sent their keys apparently - as of right now. Only if you preordered from steam you can preload the game.

Got my keys from cdkeys. Already downloaded 3.5GB. Time to play that FIFA 18 DEMO for 2 hours, take an hour break watching latest Suits episode then continue for 2 more hours.
