Since few days i have massive issue with elite roster, i cant edit FAs, it crash everytime i try to edit FA in game. Any modder with similar issue?
Also i have ctd everytime im tryin to simulate season. It ctd with first game. 2k13 file which is probably 100% 1:1 copy have zero problems with both situations.
Im trying everything and i have no doubt that its players or teams tab issue. Im loosing my mind and im closer to not release elite because of this unknown issue. I think after years im good in finding roster issues but this time guys...ehhh.

but, in this case, all we would need we have in that mod for 2k12 and fiba 2k14 by @meds. and i doesn't necessarily mean that new roster mod needs to be created from scratch, current one could be renamed with adding some missing fiba national teams i mentioned (if this is the easier way for eventual creation of the mod).

i'm glad too see @maravich is also for this idea, i'm sure he could help

Exciting stuff the ideas floating around for expanding FIBA experience within URB

If at some point you decide to actually go for it, I think I can give some help.

I have been compiling an add-on for FIBA mod containing up to now the following ALL-Time teams:

Argentina
Australia
Brazil
Canada
Croatia
Greece
Lithuania
Serbia
Spain
USA

The add-on I've been working on is for personal use because all the graphical aspects it (CF,jerseys, arenas...) are not made by me (but a compilation of work done by EUROACB, FIBA mod, URB, UBR, FIBA SPCG mod).

Still I have revamped the ratings for all the players of these teams and I have created portrait files for all of them who didn't already had.

I would also be more than happy to work on these teams as well and round them up to number 16:

France
Germany
Italy
Russia
Slovenia
Turkey

The only reason I haven't moved on to these extra 6 teams is that a lot of key players of them don't have CF (as per example Myers, Riva, Brunamonti for Italy etc.). But I have the feeling that if in the future you actually decide to walk that path, Maravich will step up as he so often does.

Anyway I know that at the moment all of you guys have a lot on your plate but if at a point you decide to go for it, I would be hugely pumped up about it and help in any way that I can.

Frankly, I don't know what you are going to do against this team. Every starter was an MVP and 4 players off the bench were either 1st or 2nd Team NBA players. You could also bring Malone off the bench and start McGinnis if you wanted to to have a more traditional lineup. Yeah, Malone and Wilt won't give you much range and the paint would be clogged, but look at the rebounding, defense, and inside scoring you are getting with those guys. The only weakness I can see is outside shooting but their backcourt is loaded with Iverson, Cunningham (who played SF but I couldn't bring an MVP off the bench), and Doctor J.

Hate to be a stickler but I think Arizin should be at the All-Time Warriors. They were situated back then at Philly but it's still the Warriors franchise. The same goes for prime Wilt. Although Chamberlain did also play for 76ers off-prime, if that's even a thing for dominant force of nature like Wilt. The guy was unreal, he had 33Pppg, 25Rpg, 5Apg without being at his prime :lol:

Also Geoff Petrie should be at Portland or FA pool, he hasn't played with the Sixers.

Yes, Petrie is on Portland. That was a typo. You are correct about Arizin. I switched him to the Warriors but I'm not sure if he's going to be on the squad or not. Haven't checked. I will when I post this. Wilt was taken from the 1967 season when the 76ers won the Championship and he won MVP. Since he won 4 MVP's, I picked a season where he also won a championship and had ridiculous stats. This is what ruled him out from the Lakers, because he didn't have worldbeater stats there. He had crazy stats on the Warriors but he didn't win any championships there. These are the reasons Wilt stays on the 76ers. Remember, though, once the roster is released, you can make any transactions you like.

EDIT: Yes, Arizin will be a reserve on the Warriors. He will bump Jason Richardson into the Free Agent pool.

This team took a big hit when LeBron was placed in Miami. His best season (based on my criteria) was there when he won a championship and MVP in the same season, something he hasn't accomplished in Cleveland. They are largely comprised of all stars, with only three players making All NBA Teams, and two of them were 3rd team guys. They are filled with very good players but no great ones. This was one of the most difficult teams to put together because they have so many great players in their history that will make them incredibly difficult to beat. The players that DIDN'T make the team could form their own team that would still be better than most other teams. Boston ranks as the 2nd best team in this roster according to my weighting scale where each potential award players were chosen by was given a value then those values were added together. 3 MVP's starting in the front court with 2 first team All NBA players in the starting backcourt. This team comes at you with more size and more skill than most teams but also doesn't have the most athleticism. That being said, their skill, size, complimentary pieces, depth, and mix of old school and new school talent will be incredible on the digital hardwood.

To me, this team is Cleveland West. A lot of very good players, but their best players aren't great enough. McAdoo had an MVP season in 1975 but they only have two 1st Team All NBA players after him. This does look to be a fun team to play with as a lineup of Smith, Free, Crawford, Griffin, and Brand would bring some highlights. Unfortunately, I doubt they will bring enough wins to be above .500

lol Yes, Seattle is gonna have a squad. They are probably my favorite team in this roster (but Kemp was by FAR my favorite all-time player). Although, I was wrong about DJ...he is in Phoenix.

I REALLY like this team. They have defense, they have scoring, they have shooting, they have Shawn Kemp aka Tupac of the NBA. This dude will dunk on your whole team with no regard for human life. Nope, Sko wanted the Thunder to be a separate team. We also combined the Pelicans and Hornets franchise into one franchise, the Hornets, to stay with 30 teams. I wanted to include the Thunder with Seattle, but, no dice.

Lebron's two best seasons came in Miami (MVP and championship).
The Bucks don't have Kareem because his best seasons were in LA (MVP and championship)
The Clippers don't have CP3 because his best season by award was in NO. He has been 1st team All NBA in NO and LAC, but earned the most MVP shares in 2008 in NO and that was also his best statistical season, by a very slim margin.

Those were difficult choices to make but were the right ones based on the criteria I chose (1st highest award won, 2nd championship season or not, 3rd statistics).

If you prefer alternate players on rosters, feel free to trade or reassign players when the roster is released.

Please stop with the eye rolls. That is petty. I work two full-time jobs, have a full-time ministry, 4 kids, and a wife to take care of. I do this because I enjoy the game and I am kind enough to share my work with people who do the same, even when they are petty. Please stop being petty.

This is really really good stuff slim! Excellent decision making where to put a great player that had been into different teams, that's a tough one. I agree with your criteria in selecting a player and where to put them. Thank you for doing this, nothing but praise on your hardwork!

Some of them have definitely been harder than others. I've just stuck to the criteria and figure users can make their own changes as they see fit when it's done. Thanks for the appreciation, man. It helps.

Couldn't agree more, especially on lebron, that's confusing where to put him. He put respect on Cleveland team and achieved Finals for the 1st time in 2007 and always a playoff contender. But when he was in Miami, his numbers just got better and achieved his 1st championship. So wtf, where do I put this guy.

What I really like on your project is no duplicate players, odd to see Lebron Cavs guarding Lebron Heat. LOL.

Have a question though, are you planning to limit the jerseys as well?
