The 1995–96 NBA season was the 50th season of NBA and season where 2 expansion teams were added in the North.

Rusty MJ came back in the previous season but came up short against the Magic during the playoffs. The Bulls have added Rodman hoping he will provide the muscle they are looking for at the middle.

Rockets just got their back-to-back championships but will Hakeem and Clyde do a three-peat?

Reggie Miller was on fire, shooting 3s and jumpers in all corners. Ken Norman and rookie Alan Henderson tried to keep them in the game while Steve Smith and Mookie Blaylock were struggling. Former Hawks player Duane Ferrell almost had a double-double with 15 pts and 9 rebounds, played good defense against Smith and hustle plays. Veterans Eddie Johnson and Ricky Pierce kept Hawks at bay while Miller is on bench. Craig Ehlo led the Hawks' bench with 18 points.

Pacers led as much as 17 points but Hawks cut the deficit to 4 points at the end of the 3rd. It's Miller time in 4th to answer Hawks' run and finished with 34 pts, 6 out of 10 from the arc.

Detroit, Michigan - Patrick Ewing scored 32 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to defeat the Detroit Pistons 104-99. The Knicks shot 46% from the 3-pt line with Charlie Ward having a career high of 28 points shooting 6 of 10 from 3-pt line that made it easier for Ewing to operate inside.

It was a sorry loss for the opening night at home for the Pistons that led by 10 in the 2nd qtr 33-23. Grant Hill was sensational, 1 rebound shy from getting a triple-double, 24 pts, 9 rebs and 11 asts. It was a seesaw battle with both teams having their own runs until the Knicks tightened their defense in the last 2 minutes.

Charles Barkley scored 22 points and grabbed 7 boards including 2 clutch jumpers to escape the Clippers 108-105. Lamond Murray was in the zone as he scored 10 points in the 1st half then 21 points in the 2nd half. Murray also had a good defense on Barkley that caused him to miss 19 shots. Clippers was in lead most of the game, ended 1st half with a 5-point lead. KJ, Tisdale and Hot Rod Williams made key contributions to keep the Clippers within reach. The game got tied again mid of 3rd and it was close until the 4th, there were 16 lead changes and 9 deadlocks.
Suns was pulling away late in the 4th and have a 12-point lead with 4:33 left, 98-86. Then the Clippers have a series of stops and got hot again with 3-points coming from Sealy and Murray that cut the lead to 3 points, 101-98. It was down to the wire at the end, Wesley Person split his free throws that gave the Suns a 4-pt lead 106-102 but Dehere made a quick 3 to cut it to 1. Sun's Williams made 2/2 free throws, the Clippers has no more time out and Dehere failed to made the half-court 3.

First, I'd like to say great job. It takes time and effort to put together these videos. Just a few suggestions.

1. Use a scoreboard mod (like the old NBA on NBC one, or another one) it really adds to the realistic presentation, and takes two seconds to download one and insert in the game.

2. Camera view: for people watching on mobile devices, the players look like ants, and that camera view doesn't resemble anything broadcast related. I would recommend Broadcast Generic, Height 5, Zoom 2. Or height 4 zoom 2. I've noticed that people access my NBA 2k highlight videos from mobile devices often. If you adjust the camera view it will add to your realistic presentation and get you more views.

3. I think you used my eventmusic.bin as a base (I heard Ozzy, crazy train and a couple others that only my eventmusic.bin has). I made that as part of the UBR mod (it's available on the website). Either that, or the URB guys used it and edited it and that's the one you are using. Which is cool. However, I think you can find actual halftime music from back in 95-96 (national broadcast), I think that would be really cool and authentic.

Either way, keep up the good work.

Yeah try tweaking it a bit. Make sure you are recording at 60 FPS.

Also, sometimes you get what you get when it comes to free video recorders. I got lucky, because I have AMD GAMING EVOLVED which came with my graphics card. That's what I use to record my highlights.

However, I did buy ACTION! movie maker. It was worth it. For full games, or longer recording, I use that. It gives smooth gameplay while recording (no drop on FPS), and the videos come out smooth. It was $30.

Philadelphia, PA - No Webber, no problem. Washington used a 14-2 run to open the 3rd quarter and got even hotter in the 4th shooting 68% from the field to outscore the 76ers 32-21 and defeat the Philly 96-87. 76ers top draft pick rookie Jerry Stackhouse had a woeful night shooting, after making his first 2, he went 1 of 13 from field and finished with 7 points and 5 assists. Vernon Maxwell has the game high score with 25 points followed by Washington's Calbert Cheaney of 20 points.

Sacramento, California - Mitch Richmond fired the shot with 0.9 seconds left and drilled the game winner for the Kings 91-89. Here's the highlights of the last 2 minutes of the game.

Yeah, hell of a clutch player, Richmond scored the last 7 points of the Kings. I thought it was over for Sacramento when Doug West made an elbow jumper with 6.3 seconds left. I'm glad AI did not mess the last seconds of the game and gave us a good ending, the frustrating part though is the replay did not capture the winning shot, both the director's and manual replay.

I'll be putting a different scoreboard after I'm done compiling highlights of the opening night. Also, I found better settings for OBS that cuts out the lag. Thanks Dee.

Toronto, Canada - Expansion team Toronto Raptors have a very bad start in the first 3 minutes of the game, Nets are up 14-0, gave up an and1, 0/6 FG, 2 fouls, 4 turnovers and 3 of their shots were blocked. John Salley made the 1st 2 points of the franchise in 7:18 mark thru the assist of Carlos Rogers. Nets are up by 15 at the end of 1st.

It was a different story in the 2nd and 3rd quarter, thanks to 3-year wingman Tracy Murray and team's 1st pick Damon Stoudamire who led the offense and gave Raptors a 1 point lead at the end of 3rd. Teams are tied 97 with 2:33 in the 4th when the Nets made an 8-0 run by Kevin Edwards, Armen Gilliam and Kenny Anderson.

Salt Lake, Utah - Gary Payton silenced the Jazz with 36 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Sonics were on early lead 13-2 in the 1st quarter but Jazz fought back to have their own lead as high as 8 points 67-59 in the 3rd. John Stockton and Karl Malone's pick and roll came into play and Stockton was finding open guys but Jazz just shot terribly that could have buried Sonics in deep trouble. It was a close match until Sonics put a 10-point lead in 4th 98-88 with 5:21 left. Jazz will not go down without a fight and came close 105-102 with 24.1 ticks left. Hawkins and Payton made crucial free throws that sealed the win

Atlanta, Georgia - Penny Hardaway had a double-double to give Magic 2nd straight win and hand Hawks' second straight home loss with 111-104 win. It was close all through out the game, 16 lead changes and 8 ties until Magic made key plays at the end. Magic's 57% field goal shooting made up on their 15 turnovers. Ken Norman led the Hawks with 24 points and 4 assists where he scored 13 in the 1st. Teams are tied at 102 with 1:51 left when Magic made a 9-2 run, Hawks were held scoreless in the last 1:34 of regulation.

Charlotte, North Carolina - Charlotte Hornets escaped with a narrow margin vs the 76ers 95-93. Khalid Reeves made a 17-foot jumper with 0.3 seconds left. "I can't get the ball to Glen (Rice) or Larry (Johnson) and I saw the clock so I took it, it's a great win for us" Khalid said of his shot. Glen Rice scored 25 of his 29 points in the 2nd half on his debut as a Hornet, "I really owe it to the team and coaching staff, they trusted me and kept feeding me the ball." Rice said. Larry Johnson scored only 10 points with 5/9 shooting and 7 rebounds. On the other hand,76ers suffered it's 2nd straight loss. Clarence Weatherspoon led the 76ers with 20 points while Bradley and Maxwell added 18 points a piece. Rookie Stackhouse had another sorry game, 9 points, shooting 3/17, "I'm disappointed with myself tonight especially missing those two free throws" as Stackhouse said to media. 76ers will host Sacramento in 3 days.

Bulls got it's 2nd straight win and defeated the Celtics 106-93. Bulls' stingy defense and offensive rebounding give them an early lead 13-2 in the 1st quarter and never looked back. Celtics also scored 2 points only in the last 3:14 of the 4th qtr. 28-21 is the nearest the Celtics came to the Bulls. With Kerr hitting 3 3-pointers in the 1st half, C's are forced to extend their defense. All-star guard Dana Barros came from the bench and tried to keep the Celtics in the game, Barros finished the game with 16 points and 8 dimes. Fox was hounded by Pippen and scored only 6 points. Radja had a double-double with 16 points and 10 boards. Bulls have their biggest lead in the 3rd 72-51 with 7:02 remaining but Radja and Barros led a 11-2 run that cut it to 74-62 with 3:47 left. Michael Jordan led all scorers with 31 and scored 10 of the last 12 points for the Bulls.

Watch the 1st overtime of the season between the Knicks and Bucks. Oakley grabbed 19 boards while Ewing with 16 rebounds but will the Knicks make it 2 straight wins?

Something new I tried, I included the player highlights and added audio on it. Sorry if there are some split second lapses, that is because the speed of video on highlight is not as the same as the audio and I have to do some adjustments to make sure it's synchronized. Hope you like it.

Thanks Dee. Van Exel is on fire, Campbell and Divac were hampered by fouls causing limited action, Ceballos kept on working under the basket. But Lakers defense is nowhere to found, Perkins, Hawkins, Payton were bombing 3s while Kemp dominated the post.

I'm gonna use different scoreboards in the next games, I was testing some settings on OBS studio.
