Just make replace the texture of a shoe that uses a colored texture just like 2K14.

Can you do one on how to add or remove 3D hair to player models?
Fri Jul 07, 2017 9:50 pm

Can you help me bruh? I'm able to do and change the body of Lebron by scuplting only..
This time i extracted Ben Simmons (PNG7200) out of nba 2k17 using the explorer and i edited it and shrinked the arms shader together with hidden shaders, just that w/o sculpting or anything and i connected his neck on to the body without changng or scaling or shrinking the head.
As i played him in NBA 2k17, there's something wrong it's not yet changed but it appears with the changes of the body when you zoomed ben simmons in the game. Idk what i missed.. or maybe I'm wrong.. please teach me senpai.. thanks for the tutorials.. this is my first time and i'd to love 3d making

You need to copy "hi_head" and replace the other ones like "hi_head_2, hi_head_3, etc." with the "hi_head" that you copied. You're just going to have to rename them so they have the numbers at the end.

Just delete hi_head_1, Hi_head_2,Hi_head_3 and all the others with numbers and it will work and save you time.
No need to copy.
Just make sure Hi_head.scne is the only one left in the png file and your issue will go away.
Also Emazing Erik,
You can't truly remove or add hair to any player model. You can shrink the hair so it is not visible or make it larger, or re-shape the hair.
The other thing that people like R4zor and I both do to get players to have new hair style is we have to completely re shape player faces.
For example I want Carmelo to have braids then I must use a player with braids and turn him in to carmelo by completely resculpting his face in blender and replacing original textures with Carmelo's textures.

TG, i have question. i've tried messing around editing a cyberface to get a feel for it, but when i assign the id number to a player he comes out blank.
here's what i've done:
opened face.iff in 2k explorer
exported face color xxxx.dds
edited dds file in photoshop
saved dds as dxt5
imported dds back into face.iff file
saved iff as new file facexxxx.iff
but it always comes out blank, do you have any thoughts on what could be wrong? thanks

You can't just rename face.iff to whatever you want to. It has to be an id that is already in the game

Bro i know this is too much but i've been trying and learning the curve and did some stuffs lately (experimenting cyberfacing) i reshaped a face to a joker to see if it can be seen in the game together with facecolor dds i did.. but nothing in-game.. i followed your tips as i deleted the other head.scne in the .iff leaving the one head.scne but still the character is invisibile.. I uploaded the screenshots here.. hope you can help me make my own cf..

You most likely renamed a file or subfile.
Try editing the shape of a dfferent player without changing texture
