Talk about NBA 2K11 here.

User Video Thread

Postby Dee4Three on Sat Apr 29, 2017 4:43 am

Hi all,

There was a screenshot thread for this game, but no video thread. So I figured I'd start one.

Just one random Jordan dunk from the 96-97 Roster for 2k11 to get things kicked off.

2K really nailed MJ's moves in NBA 2K11. (Y)

Some 96-97 Kobe highlights.

This game is still a ton of fun.

The game is completely maxed out. I have no idea what you are talking about. All of my games (all the videos you see) the games are maxed out.

Did you forget what NBA 2K11 looked like? Or did you forget to put the video on HD?

Not at all
YT in HD, and i still play 2K11 for fun ;)

Perhaps mine is modded, but yours looks like 2K12 when 2K has downgraded the graphics

Here's a screenshot of this morning (i dont have classics courts for 97 mod but hope you can see what i mean).

Okay, so we just have different tastes. I am using default global, but I like that one for this game. I have never liked ENBs.

Also, I completely disagree about it looking like 2K12, one thing that really stands out is the shine on the players in 2K11, 2K12 doesn't have that. I have been playing both of them a lot recently and I notice the difference.

I also wouldn't say it's bad, at all. For last gen, this was actually considered good graphics. And, these graphics are actually appealing to me.

You stated "your graphics look awful for the player", I actually think they look really good up close. And, saying the graphics are awful means that you think the original NBA 2K11 product has bad graphics? I disagree with that. Low player detail would have meant the players would look real fuzzy or jagged, or just look like sloppy textures. This doesn't look like that.

It's funny, I actually miss a lot of things about last gen graphics.

We'll, i use ENB on old gen (now sweetfx) mainly for fix the yellish color of 2K games.

I think we are agree about 2K11 : 2k12 (even 13 & 14) was a regression in comparison of 2K11 on graphics
Players, floors reflections were so much better in 2K11
And both, we love 2K11
That's why i watched your video ;) ... but i don't really see the "shine effect" and players' textures look so low

For exemple at 0'47, Kobe looks "so 2K12"

Again, my game is maxed out, and I disagree about how that looks. The textures do not look like they are on low.

Awesome, and the game looks fine.

One of the best things about NBA 2K11 is the way the ball goes in the hoop, and how the net reacts. Really cool.

Magicola, WOW!

That looks fantastic. I'll be downloading that mod for sure.

Too bad nobody came out with a scoreboard mod that actually resembled real life.

Btw, that court looks great. Just subscribed on YouTube.

Hey thanks

I've just reinstalled the game with my original copy and then download and install the k-roster graphics 2015 and the 2017 season update.
Yes it looks good, the game is max out on my pc.
But there is no .ROS file with the 2 whole things to download, that you will need.
I found a 2016 .ROS file somewhere I don't remember where, by googling it

Good to know.

I was trying to get ahold of the 02-03 Mod, 94-95 Mod and 91-92 mods... and I cant find them anywhere. I only have 96-97, so I am a bit bummed out about it.

I still got the 2003 mod on one of my hard drives.
I remember I bought the pc version of nba 2K11 just to play the 2003-2006 era.
Before that, I played the game on the ps3 of my roommate of that time.
I can share it to you if you need it

That would be great. I think it would be helpful to others as well, maybe you can share it on the 02-03 roster thread in the releases and previews section.

Check the download section here.
I've reuploaded 91-92 mod few years ago, and also draft classes and 96-97
Unfortunately, after few seasons in association mode, the game crashes :(

I've got also FIBA & 2003 mods but i didnt reuploaded theses mods here.

I haven't posted any videos yet but am very interested to. Which software do you use to record your gameplay? I have BSR Screen Recorder 5, but the frame rate is very low despite maxing out the limit, resulting in a very choppy output.

I use AMD Gaming Evolved (Which is an application that comes with the AMD Cards), all of my highlight videos you see come from sing that program. If you don't have a AMD card... I don't know. Mirillis ACTION is a really great one, but I had to pay like $50 for it (I don't know how much it is now). Not sure what else you could use...

I also use Movavi Video Suite to put the highlights together after they have been recorded.

Aww man, too bad for me. I got NVIDIA, and my chip type's not compatible with the GeForce Experience's recording feature (GT 630M represent!) I'll probably continue looking for a decent recording freeware to suit my game-recording needs.

I was using Fraps, but I ended up buying Bandicam a little while back. I've been very happy with it, but it's not freeware so it isn't suitable in that regard.
