I haven't been following embiid this year. How's he been doing? Is he really deserving of a spot?

I was hoping Embiid would make it - he's already one of the best players in the league. However, his lack of minutes played combined with the Sixers' poor start meant that the thrilling Paul Millsap got the nod instead.

He's great at what he does well but he really fails in what he does poorly. Kinda like DeMarcus Cousins I'd add.

He's not a star yet, let alone one of the best players in the league.

It seems he's the ultimate proof of "Trust the Process" these days but what we known before hasn't changed much imho. He's still injury prone (yep, he's out for injury at this very moment we're speaking of) and still needs to reach his potential.
