About the D Rose mod again, what you did is already an improvement and I'd use the mod right now but could you mess with Rose's 3D shape of the head somewhere in the future and make his afro even bigger, mushroom like? Only if you have the time, I know you have the abilities.

Here is what I am talking about. I couldn't find a more recent photo but Christmas should do. He looks the same now.

Not sure if you can tell by the picture, but that's already done. Default hair is much shorter. Just need to get rid of the sideburns.
