Given the time it generally takes for me, I'd say it's indeed a full 7 GB download. Pretty sure my Internet usage backs it up, though I will double-check next time to be 100% sure.

Hello guys, I'm pretty much new here just got my gaming pc a couple of weeks with the help of dee4three. I may be doing something wrong but for some reason I am not downloading the patch. When I click on the steam icon it has my latest news as "path 4 released". Is there something you have to do to download patches for PC games? I know on the xbox it just did it automatically but I am not seeing anything that indicates I have downloaded patch 1.06.

It automatically updates the game when you sign onto Steam. You should be good to go.

Yea thats the thing. When I click on the steam icon on my desktop, I automatically sign in and it shows nba 2k17 but it seems like nothing has happened since Oct 12th according to the recent news. Steam shows that I have Nba 2k17 running but it is not updating the game.

Go into your NBA 2K17 main directory, if you see that some files were updated on 11/22 or 11/23, you have the patch.

I guess I don't have the patch. The latest update seems to be 11/11/2016. See attachments....

Right click on the game and look at the properties. Check the updates tab. It should say "always keep this game up to date" or something. If not, it may not have auto updated.

That's really odd... I didn't even think a "Patch 4" was released for 2k17.. have you tried verifying your game cache? Or reinstalling the game?

Verifying your game cache will only make you lose mods/songs you have imported using NBA 2k17 explorer.

It wont mess with anything in your modded folder.

I had that gut reaction when I first played tonight after the patch actually went through. I noticed that the players don't seem to move up the court as fast (why the hell would they make the game slower again!), and it feels like the first step is gone on many moves (that I think should have them).

However, it seems they didn't break it completely. I still was able to use some of my one on one moves to get passed the CPU on Hall of Fame, and they left some of the moves alone with the acceleration.

My question to them is: why keep changing the good things about the game?? I am so sick of patches I could puke. Every time we get used to gameplay, 2k patches it, and even removes good elements of the game when doing so.

I understand you will need to sell NBA 2k18, but don't ruin our experience with this one to help with sales/improvements for next year!!

Just to clear up any confusion, which 2K isn't really helping because they're using both names in different places, but Patch #4 is Patch 1.04, Patch #5 is Patch 1.05, and Patch #6 is Patch 1.06.

I haven't played a single player game with the latest patch yet, but Arcane, Kenny and I played a few games of 2K Pro-Am last night. For me there wasn't really anything that stood out as being bad or worse in terms of the gameplay, but again, that's the online experience.

We did encounter a new bug, though. When you play a road game in 2K Pro-Am, instead of your actual road jersey being displayed, you wear the jerseys of the last team you faced at home. This bug seems to get passed on, as we had back-to-back games against the same team. In the first game, playing at their arena, we wore the road jerseys of the team we faced before them. In the second game, played at our arena, they wore the jerseys belonging to the team we faced before them (except one player who had their home jersey). A cosmetic bug at the end of the day, but still a bit sloppy.

First, i´m a not a "online player" so, i ever put my steam offline, go online just for update rosters and patch.

So, thks GOD i´m backing up 2K17 1.05 because IMO, 2k DESTROYS the gameplay. In 1.06, game is lazy, u dont finish more on 1on1 game. CPU defense is strong and u LAZY on defense.

Put here 1.05 files back and VUALA, a great game again!

Oh I thought I was just a retard in my own game earlier. CPU intercepting most of my passes and my own SG is getting lost on defense nowhere to be found leaving opposing SG very wide open in multiple possessions.

Does anyone have a problem with official roster now,its roster with old stats from beginning of the game and without Steve Nash?

welp, six patches in and the interior defensive issues still haven't been touched. it's ridiculous how many ppg and off rebounds are given up because of wandering and clueless bigmen not knowing how to stay between their man and the basket. interior defense is just absolutely non-existent and drives me fucking nuts. i don't get how it's not being talked about.

+100 This should have been the first issue addressed. It's been going on since the game came out. Clueless defenders standing around, not guarding their man. Then they are too slow to react.

I got some teammate running beside me after i dove for the looseball steal across halfcourt

What did the player beside me do as i go to pass the ball to him?
He went back to the other side and got himself backcourt violation.

Im not sure but I actually just went for a month in-game since the patch with the only injury is someone got poked in the eye cause the defender keeps hacking him.
