For some reason, the game doesn't feel nearly as smooth after the patch. There seems to be more herky-jerky animations, and my face scan got messed up. Not impressed so far.

Alright, some further impressions.

Playing some MyCAREER today, the game felt normal, as it did before the patch. Still fairly smooth and responsive, still the occasional out of control moment, but no worse than before. Still fun. Offline/single player seems fine, which is good. I did have to re-scan my face which was annoying, but the new scan turned out a little better, so it might have actually been for the best. Passing doesn't feel a lot better, but I wouldn't say it's worse. At the very least, it didn't seem to mess anything up offline.

Online, though? Oh man, 2K Pro-Am is practically unplayable now. There was always a bit of lag, but now movement is stiffer than NBA Live 14. The cheesy charging calls are ridiculous, and combined with the body steals, they allow for some really cheap turnovers. 2K Pro-Am was already a lot less fun this year, but after the patch? It's no fun. At all.

I couldn't even get online last night, I fancied a quick match online (against the Warriors or Cavs I'd imagine) but they just couldn't get me in there so after 25-30 minutes I gave up.

I'm getting worried that official accounts say "available for PS4, coming soon to XB1" and don't mention PC at all. On top of that SteamDB shows no updates in the past 2 weeks.

Maybe it's good that there is a delay. They could be fixing up the issues they are hearing about before the release.

I'd be more worried, but unfortunately I'm used to this. They gave us the exact same treatment with a few patches last year, taking their time in letting us know it was officially coming to us at all.

I have a suspicion they're waiting to include PC-specific fixes in the patch as well. They've shown a propensity to do this in the past, though I don't really know why.

Overall very negative responses to the patch both here and on OS, basically hearing it did way more harm than good. I'm also disappointed in the lack of points of emphasis in MyLeague.....it basically broke the mode for me.....also disappointed in the lack of gameplay tweaks....

While it's a shame that the patch has had some harmful effects, I'm kind of relieved to hear that it's not just me.

It's not uncommon for the PC version to be overlooked in patch bulletins, seeing as how the console userbase is significantly larger (and thus the priority). That said, we received all the updates last year, and I imagine they'll all come through (eventually) for PC this year as well. As noted however, given that there are some issues with patch 1.03, perhaps a delay isn't the worst thing in the world in this instance.

Agreed. I really just want my damn subs to come in after I change them up during a time out :(

I have started to learn to live with it though... I now use down on the d-pad and quickly try and make changes BEFORE calling a timeout.

Under "Depots": https://steamdb.info/app/385760/depots/
You can see there that the QA branch is ahead of public branch a build numbers.
