Latest Win 10 update

The newest update (my laptop auto updated overnight the morning of sept 25) creates tons of offline lag and a huge drop in frame rate. I was running 2k17 almost perfectly(still no fans in the seats) now it's unplayable, even the menu is laggy.
Anyone know any solutions or if a possible 2k update to fix it is coming?

They pushed through a couple of Windows 10-related updates for NBA 2K16, so it's possible that a hotfix is coming.

You mentioned laptop...double check that the game is using your dedicated GPU after the update. Either the Anniversary update or the latest Nvidia drivers caused me to have to reset that to avoid onboard graphics.
