Talk about NBA 2K17 here.

When you're taking part in team practices (and optional open practices) in MyCAREER, you can get some bonues in your session by performing certain tasks. As part of our efforts to create more gameplay resources this year, I thought I'd start compiling a running list.
Here's what I've seen come up so far:
- Make 5 layups
- Make 5 dunks
- Make 5 shots in a row (can include layups or dunks)
- Make 10 shots in a row (can include layups or dunks)
- Make 3 three-pointers in a row (doesn't need to be from the same spot)
- Make 5 three-pointers in a row (doesn't need to be from the same spot)
- Make 10 three-pointers in a row (doesn't need to be from the same spot)
- Make a three from each corner
- Dunk on each basket
- Make a three on each basket
- Make a shot over the backboard
- Perform 10 dribbling moves
- Perform 25 dribbling moves
- Make a shot after performing a dribbling move
- Make 50 shots
- Make 100 shots
- Shoot around for 10 minutes
- Make a shot on each basket within ten seconds
- Make 5 shots on each basket (can include layups or dunks)
- Make 10 shots in 30 seconds (can include layups or dunks)
- Make 20 shots in 60 seconds (can include layups or dunks)
- Complete a lap around the gym

And a few more.

Complete a lap - run a lap around the gym.

Without the ball, I presume?

I did it with the ball, not sure if it works the same without it. I just ran around the gym, outside the court.

I'll have to give it another try, see if I can get it to register. With or without turbo?
Mon Sep 19, 2016 9:22 pm
I think I wasn't turbo-ing the whole lap. I'll give it another try later, maybe even with short video as guide/proof. I'm pretty sure this bonus was in 2K16 too.

Confirmed that you don't need to use turbo.

Added a couple more. Incidentally, the extra VC you get isn't much, but it all adds up, and it contributes to the Doin' Work meter.

If you want to simply fill up the "Getting work done" bar, the simplest way is to 1) cancel out of all drills (in team practice and open practices) 2) go into the weight room and do that stupid vertical jump bar. In less than 1 min, you'll fill up the entire bar and you can quit practice immediately.
Woe be it to the person who did not know about that shortcut cause you'd have to shoot about a million shots and do a million dribble moves to max out your player to 99.
I'm up to Dec 15 in game and I've already unlocked 5 upgrades, having done every single practice available. Locked upgrades are not my current problem. Having VC to spend, is.

I've found that it's easy enough to fill up the bar with a couple of on-court drills, and running a sprint or two. It's just a shame that the aforementioned bonuses don't seem to really earn much VC. In fact, some of them don't seem to earn any bonus VC at all, though I'm not sure which ones do and don't. I think I managed to earn about 50 VC once by doing absolutely everything on the list, but that obviously takes a bit of time out of your day.
