I don't know if you realised but my account got banned for modding and messing around with my MyPlayer account. I don't know why I even was banned because I don't even use MyPark, MyTeam or any gamemodes that use VC (2K only ban people on VC related things, as they're losing out on money). I might of broken a rule somehow, I can't remember what it was. The problem is that there is speculation on whether or not the ban will carry over to NBA 2K17. I'm probably going to have to buy it on an alt account, which is annoying because I want to link everything I do to PeacemanNOT. Also I can't run the risk of buying a cd key as I won't be able to refund.

I know but I just want to buy it on my main account anyways. Does anyone know how much the Dream Team costs without a pre-order?

I dont know if it was already questioned, but where should I buy the game to be able to play the game on 16th (PC offcourse). Or is 16th september only console exclusive?
Cd keysellers are quite cheaper but everywhere I looked it says the game will be available on 20th september even if I preorder. So its a gamble if I would have to wait till next tuesday. Does preorder directly on steam guarantee game this friday?

And I am curious... whats the whole "key buying" thing, is that legal?. I won't be doing it, but I just don't get that process.

I have bought most of the PC games that way. You get the games atleast 30% cheaper, quite often even more. Personally I never had any problems in the past. Also they often give big discounts for particular weekends,.. If you stick with the respected cd keys websites you shouldnt have any problems. I think its 100% legal.

Then you get CD key on email within minutes any you just copy/write that key into steam client and voila, the game is downloading/installing.

Of course it's legal, even 2K does it, I bought my key from them, early tip-off included but still haven't got the email.
