What makes this mod “sim”? Here are a few of the features that set this project apart from all others:

- Every art file (jerseys, arenas, cyberfaces, accessories, courts, dornas (advertisement at half court), etc is realistic and none will crash game play
- There is no missing art file in the entire project

Every player in every roster has:
- Accurate statistical ratings and tendencies to work with 2k's simulation engine while still providing realistic game play
- Realistic ratings and tendencies that affect game play but not the simulation engine ie dribbling, athletic ratings, post tendencies, etc.
- Realistic physical attributes that decrease after major injuries or as the player gets older
- Accurate play types
- Accurate contracts

- Accurately updated Coaching profiles and playbooks

- Draft classes that have realistic player information for every player

- A few slider sets designed to be a base for realistic game play

I don't think thats fair guys. It's your mod, your mod thread. The guy is asking, albeit somewhat rudely, whether or not your going to add draft classes for those years. Are you guys (sko and slimm) retired from roster editing at this point, and only adding stuff others contribute? Because sko seems to have indicated this when others give him roster corrections, etc in recent months. I believe he also said "No new players being added in previous seasons". Are you guys retired or what? Serious question. If you are more power to you, you both did great work. But to continue updating the mod gives the indication your continually looking to improve it, so try not to get so mad at people making requests or suggestions.

It doesn't make sense to me that people ask for things that they have the ability to contribute to but almost never choose to contribute. Not sure how you read into that post as me being mad, but it's really besides the point. The point is, if somebody wants to help with any aspect of the project, they are more than welcome to.

Do you play 2k13 or do you like to come into threads and critique them when you don't play? I saw you doing that with the shoe mod on 2k14 a week or so ago.

Well answer is easy, this is why slimm ignored your pm, just do it. Take mouse in your hands, open browser, find draft class, buy redmc license or create draft class in game. You dont need any replies from slimm to do this.

And I responded and said I would send you the spreadsheet that would make it easier for you and all you would have to do is input the data. If you're willing to do that, I'm still willing to send it. I just never heard back from you after I responded. Maybe a post got lost somewhere? Let me know and I'll be happy to send you what you need to give the draft classes correct play types, ratings, and tendencies.

I never saw anything. I sent the pm after you said you would send the spreadsheet. That was the last correspondence on the matter that I know of. So how do we get this ball rolling? Do I need the editor license or can I just do it from create a draft class? If the instructions are extended feel free to shoot me a pm.

I'm thinking that your last PM didn't come through for some reason. Sorry for the misunderstanding earlier. I noticed a few things in defense.

slimm,

if you have time, since we already talk about this, could you also name gameplay advantages nba 2k14 has over 2k13?

ok, we all know about ability to block dunks, but what else did you notice? i'm very interested in reading your opinion about this.


- Defenders mirror and stay with the ball handlers more (unless they fall down) in 14. I think this is why there are fewer pull up jumpers from mid range, because the ball handler never feels that they have enough space to get the shot off.

- As you said, blocking dunks is easier in 14 but I have blocked dunks in 13. Sko and I have traded videos in the past of both of us blocking CPU dunks.

- The movement feels a little "heavier" in 14. I'm not really sure how to describe this more, it just feels "heavier" to me.

- I do like the fast break and the early offense feature in 14. It seems that the AI is programmed to do more than simply have the wings on the break crash the basket.

- On 14, I like how the Tenacious Rebounder sig skills makes players' rebounding abilities stand out more. Scrapper on 13 is OK but it's not as strong as Tenacious Rebounder is on 14.

That's all I can think of right now. Sko may be a better person to ask than me. I play 13 more than 14 and I watch WAY more cpu vs cpu on 13 than I actually play. When I finish editing Ultra for 13 (I think I have 11 teams left), I intend to play a little more.

What makes this mod “sim”? Here are a few of the features that set this project apart from all others:

- Every art file (jerseys, arenas, cyberfaces, accessories, courts, dornas (advertisement at half court), etc is realistic and none will crash game play
- There is no missing art file in the entire project

Every player in every roster has:
- Accurate statistical ratings and tendencies to work with 2k's simulation engine while still providing realistic game play
- Realistic ratings and tendencies that affect game play but not the simulation engine ie dribbling, athletic ratings, post tendencies, etc.
- Realistic physical attributes that decrease after major injuries or as the player gets older
- Accurate play types
- Accurate contracts

- Accurately updated Coaching profiles and playbooks

- Draft classes that have realistic player information for every player

- A few slider sets designed to be a base for realistic game play

I noticed a few things in defense.

if you have time, since we already talk about this, could you also name gameplay advantages nba 2k14 has over 2k13?

ok, we all know about ability to block dunks, but what else did you notice? i'm very interested in reading your opinion about this.


- Defenders mirror and stay with the ball handlers more (unless they fall down) in 14. I think this is why there are fewer pull up jumpers from mid range, because the ball handler never feels that they have enough space to get the shot off.

- As you said, blocking dunks is easier in 14 but I have blocked dunks in 13. Sko and I have traded videos in the past of both of us blocking CPU dunks.

- The movement feels a little "heavier" in 14. I'm not really sure how to describe this more, it just feels "heavier" to me.

- I do like the fast break and the early offense feature in 14. It seems that the AI is programmed to do more than simply have the wings on the break crash the basket.

- On 14, I like how the Tenacious Rebounder sig skills makes players' rebounding abilities stand out more. Scrapper on 13 is OK but it's not as strong as Tenacious Rebounder is on 14.

That's all I can think of right now. Sko may be a better person to ask than me. I play 13 more than 14 and I watch WAY more cpu vs cpu on 13 than I actually play. When I finish editing Ultra for 13 (I think I have 11 teams left), I intend to play a little more.

That's strange. I even reinstalled all the retro mod and his face is still missing. Oh well he isn't an important player anyways.

Not sure if you read my posts from the previous page or not but can you also check out Lancaster Gordon of the Los Angeles Clippers on your retro 1985 rosters he is missing his face and has no arms or legs and Elston Turner of the Denver Nuggets also on your retro 1985 rosters his face and arms are white but his legs are black.
