Sounds good. The runs with four and five players have definitely been fun. Then again, we don't have the luxury of blaming a CPU player when we have five...

My guy is 7 foot, although I had not played the mycareer mode passed the the opening scenes of that shitbrick storyline that is a Spike Lee Joint so my player only had a 55 rating and didn't help the "Greatness" out much but I think the timing is right for me to start getting into it with the off season here.

I've being playing as a walk on for about 4-5 games since and have my guy upto a 59 or 60 I think, working on defence and rebounding mainly.

I just got home from work. Is this a generally good time of the day to play or a bit too late for you guys?

Depends on the day. At weekends, it's definitely doable. During the week, I'd prefer to be fresh for work (though here I am up late, posting and taking care of a few things).

After finishing 82 games with a 22-60 record, we've started the second season 3-7. We could've easily been 5-5 if luck was on our side and we didn't have a lapse in a quarter or two.

We tend to get killed on rebounds a lot of the time, which can often lead our perimeter players to leave assignments to help out. This in turn creates open 3's... Another thing that generally kills our momentum.

With this in mind, rebounding is probably the main thing we need from our post players. Once that is established, the rest can be figured out pretty easily.

Our other weakness is probably forcing inside shots when they're not there, though I think we're getting a bit better at that.

Sounds like you guys are having fun. I'd definitely be interested in joining you guys for a few games soon, especially since I haven't even touched the mode.

I agree with the weaknesses. We get killed for offensive rebounds and easy put backs a lot and we do force a lot of stuff inside. I felt like at times we'd get stuck standing around ball-watching Kobe

It's hard to overcome the "player one mentality" at times, which leads to poor spacing, overcrowding on one side of the court, and trying to do too much. They're hard habits to break.

You're welcome to join us. If you add my new PSN account (theironstein), we should be able to get you into a game fairly soon.

Trying to get that rating up via the Walk on games.

Think I've got my rating upto 60-61 now, as Kenny told me walk on games can be brutal and he's right with over dribbling guards driving into a crowded painted area or shooting 3 after 3 after 3 so it's a good job that I focus on defence and rebounding lol

Those are some beastly rebounding numbers. You'll do just fine with NLSC Greatness.

I spend most of my VC on rebounding and Defence, I look a bit Tony Allen trying to make a layup but just like real life I love playing defence.

A fine way to make an impact, after all. And again, certainly vital in Pro-Am.

I just played a walk on game and the center on my team was called Shaq O'Neal, he looked just like Shaq from the tnt pregame show, wore a Shaq Jersey but the thing that stood out was when they show the starting lineups instead of showing his rating it just said "N/A"

A hack or the real Shaq??

He only played the 1st quarter and bailed anyway.

That's weird. A rating of N/A would suggest a CPU player.

Could be, but the player played the 1st Quarter then left as it came up saying that he had left in the bottom right corner.

Maybe Jon or Leftos could shed more light.

Maybe a hack then, though I was under the impression that problem was pretty much restricted to the PC version. A glitch, perhaps?

Some poor sports online last night. We picked up a couple of forfeit wins in a row from a team that was fairly evenly matched with us but quit in the first quarter, and a squad that felt a thirteen point deficit in the third wasn't worth trying to overcome. It's nice to get the win (and the VC too, I suppose), but it's obviously not as satisfying as making it to the final buzzer and picking up the win legit.

I managed to make it to 80 overall and today I finally reached the basketball level in mypark. it was really tough getting games, let alone winning them because the racism is real against brown shirts. i went 20-30 mins unable to get into a game before hooking up for 4 on 4 with a good squad that won 4 straight

only thing im really working for now is trying to unlock gary payton as a connection and getting his jersey for my player.

With Kenny out of town, we'll be running with a backup team this week: NLSC Snoop's Sliders, in the Adam Morrison Centre.
