NLSC Greatness in 2K PRO-AM

Talk about NBA 2K16 here.

We could take up an NLSC B-Team (or the 2KTV team) and play at humane times too :)
Opinions are my own.

We tend to play at weekends anyway.

8am your time is generally pretty feasible for me (usually up til about 10am your time on weekends), so if you guys want a bit of a sleep in, that would be fine. Only problem with that might be getting match ups, but we seem to do okay after midnight.

Does the PS+ version give any free VC straight after installation? Because if it does, I'd recommend spending most - if not all - of it on upgrading player attributes to make your player Pro-Am ready.

But yeah, it'd certainly be great to have more of you on board :)

Finally able to visit the forums again from my home PC!

Another fun, but frustrating at times, weekend of PRO-AM. It looked like [Q] was going to be our good luck charm, but alas, he witnessed some of the PRO-AM quirks we've complained about towards the end of our run. It was also great having JaoSming join us as well. Having a legit post player in the paint makes a big difference. [Q]'s effort at power forward was valiant as well

Also, check out Andrew's latest Monday Tip -Off about his 2K PRO-AM experiences: http://www.nba-live.com/monday-tip-off- ... 2k-pro-am/

Not only does it have great insight, but you'll also be able to see the box score from game 13.

Q's turn at power forward as a 5'7" point guard truly was a demonstration of it not being the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog.

The X and JaoSming provide us with some great contributions with their bigs, but they're not able to join in as often due to family commitments and in Jon's case, difference in time zone as well. So having another big on the squad probably wouldn't go astray!

I dominated with like 3 rebounds and a block at PF. Everything started off well as we killed the first two teams and it was all downhill from there.

I've been working hard on getting my player better, trying to become a great 3 & D player. I think I'm at about 67 or 68 overall now

Updated with the latest games.

3 games away from completing the equivalent of an NBA season. Can we make it to 24 wins? Maybe 22?

We are undefeated (1-0) when I have 0 turnovers. So all I have to do is have 0 turnovers every game. Easy.

I've been putting in some work and now I feel like my player can at least keep up with the 99s. I've almost maxed out defense and 3 point shooting so I'm a great 3 & D player with an overall of about 77 now

I took advantage of a VC deal to get my player up to 88, and acquire a few nifty dunk packages, as well as Ray Allen's jumpshot. Eager to see how that works out.

Pdub, I believe we're usually on Friday morning your time. However, my schedule is fairly flexible over the next week, so I could probably get on when it's more suitable for you (within reason... I'm generally not much of a morning person while I'm on semester break). Let me know what the best times are for you and I'll see if I can arrange something.

zzcoolj21, we also have a 1.000 win percentage when you do KG blocks after the whistle (y)

[Q], that's awesome. I could imagine your dude being quite a thief with max defense ratings. It would definitely be advantageous if they put you at power forward again ;)

Andrew, here's hoping for more plays where the defense completely abandons the paint (y)

As long as it's not early morning my time, that's fine. After 9am my time on Fridays is sufficient.

Yeah there was one day with 40% off attributes so I tried to take advantage of that

I had promised myself I wouldn't spend any additional money on the game this year, but it was too good to pass up. Also, I was getting jealous of everyone else's repertoire of dunks.

I'd like to try and join (7 ft center, 87 ovr, kinda shaq like), but I'm not sure if it would work due to the distance.

The biggest obstacle is generally the time difference. The American users don't really encounter too much lag on the Australian/Oceania/Whatever server - or at least it isn't too noticeable on our end - so hopefully you wouldn't have too much of a problem with that.

Anyway, we could always do with another centre on the team, so I'll add you on the PSN and you can give it a go at some point if you want.

Played a few fun games with you guys, although it would be better if I didn't have to press every button a second or two in advance.

Looks like you can really use the big guy in the paint.

And who was the one with 2-14 again? :D

It's definitely crucial to have someone controlling a big, so that you're not relying on the CPU to get the job done in the paint. We've had some decent games without one, but with so many people creating maxed out seven footers, it's a lot tougher.

I think my player is 6'10". I splurged on VC since I got the game free. So, I can also help you guys in the paint when I get home from work in time one of these days.
