I don't know why people are still getting the lag, mine was gone when i did a complete reinstall of the game and one of the thing that was causing it also was i was using a dns flush batch file.
Anyway thanks for the update Seishiro the bump thing was probably the best thing for me since i keep getting turnovers when driving on the corner. (Y)

I honestly have no clue where these facial animation files would be. Just a hunch it's in the global file. I agree with this being replaced but not removed (I think removing it would make em look robotic during the shot prep). I can check later to see if possible.

Curious about something...

Not asking you to do it, because it would be a lot to ask. But is it possible to move the blocking animations from 2k14 to 2k13? The only real weak spot in 2k13 gameplay is shot blocking. I play both 2k13 and 2k14, but I would probably revert to mostly 2k13 if this was possible. I am guessing this IS possible because both games are so similar. If this is possible that would be great!

What about removed tendencies?

In 2k14 (and 2k13?), the euro step tendency, Standing Layup Spin Layup Layup Hop Step Layup Runner Step Through tendencies were removed

Is there any insight into how the frequency is determined then? Or any way to make sure Dwight Howard never does a Euro Step, or Shaq never shoots a runner?

Possible but not with ease. The way the data is arranged looks the same but a lot of experimenting had to be done to get the animation over from 2k13-2k14. This is based on me just transferring the Kobe Jumpshot base and The Barry free throw. So doing it the other way around from 2k14-2k13 I assume it will not be simply copy and paste in terms of replacing the animations.

The only way right now is to remove the attribute stats from the player in ratings. Similar to making the Dunk rating at the lowest point the player can no longer dunk even if he has a dunk animations placed. I dunno if you can go as low as 0 in roster editing the ratings but maybe slimm44 can give better insight to this.

I've never tried to edit anything below 0 but I am certain it can't be done. I think I've accidentally entered ratings lower than 25 and the field automatically populates within the theoretical range.

Nope even looking at the way gamez did the study he foundout about it on a 2k12 thread but did not release anything til 2k14.

Since it will be more appropriate for the retro patches I am looking into replacing players who where not in the era and did not have much impact in the NBA as a Super star these are: Biedrins (Greer) and Ty Thomas (Barry) free throw slots once, but this is once I fix the sig shots.

Hey Seushir0, I was wondering if it was possible to put former dunk and layup animations in game? I was specifically thinking about Jordan's layup package from 2k11, Vince Carter/Jason Richardson between the leg dunk (also off the alley oop), Vince Carter's elbow in the rim dunk and Karl Malone's hand behind the head dunk. I was also wondering if it was possible to add George Gervin's finger roll? Where he gives that exaggerated flick to it?

Got you. Well hopefully you figure it out. It would be great to have those animations back in 2k14! Never understood why they took them out. Also, quick question is there anyway to stop glitch in Steph Curry's shot, without effecting his 40 ft jumper? I noticed it glitches if you hold the shoot button too long, my daughter has a tendency to do that, and the ball leaves his hand way before the follow through. It absolutely drives me crazy!! What makes it worse it almost always goes in when she does that, which drives me even more crazy :lol:

Is that possibile for you to add a litte update for we can hits half court shot ? :D The the game gonna be more funnier !!

The 40 ft mod its cool but this season Steph made alot of theses shots :

And m second topic is the defense : Nowdays on nba the defense came into your camp and follow until you pass the ball.

Have you the possibility to add theses settings ?

First post here at the NLSC. Been a long time lurker. The only reason i created an account was to seek for help

After i installed your mod on my game i cant play a game anymore. After the loading screen before a match starts it just crashes.

So i figured, hey maybe this mod isnt for me and i copied the backup files back into the game directory. But it still crashes. Even my backup 2k14 with no mods installed crashes. Somehow all versions of 2k14 on my pc wont run properly anymore. Even my UBR version crashes. Any idea why this is happening?

I have a quick question.

So if I don't want the increased speeds on the dribble, and speed bursts, but I still want the new blocking animations etc, I can do that right? I am assuming they are separate files? I am guessing that "NBA-Animations" is the for the speed bursts, and "Signature Generic" is for the different blocking animations and stuff.

Am I wrong?

Not entirely wrong. Dribble files are distributed to both animation files. Cross Overs with no defense, Spins with no defense, and Hesitation moves are in the SigAnims while Pivot moves/ Triple Threat, Drive to lane, launches, Cross Over w/ Defense, and Spins w/ defense are in NBAanims. Blocks are all in NBA_animations.

Is there a way to fix the hustle animation? Or it just depends on the Hustle attribute because sometimes it looks stupid like when i or the cpu dives or the other animation that is supposed to throw the ball on the back or side just goes forward or elsewhere.

This is my Attempt at Editing Sig Shots for some mostly I just based it of of Gamez patch. I only changed the Players with Signature Shots and did not touch the regular releases or the bases.

I am too busy to post pics right now but go ahead and try it. You will not need to Set your Curry to D. Gallinari & K. Martin No more. gave him his own quick release Version both on S. Curry Release and Base. (Sadly release not as fast when using the 40 ft Mod cause game alters shot, but still faster than old K. Martin Base)

Fixes:
- Fixed a file in the post which I missed in previous version. I replaced the regular file with its Mirrored file.
- Barry Free Throw Return (Ty Thomas Slot)

I will be away from editing for a while and finally got a new job with a way better company. Just need to go through a new learning curve.
