custom team players on regular teams

Is there anyway to get players from custom teams... i.i 95 magic, 90s all stars etc on regular teams after loading them from a roster? The reason I want to do this is to able to play season/dynasty with these custom players.

It can be done by changing their TEAM value to 50 (Free Agents) in players.dbf, where they can be signed to one of the NBA teams. If their ISHISTORIC value is set to True, change it to False.

Man I opened the players.dbf file in notepad++ and it seems like its gonna be a PITA to get that done so I have pretty much given up on that haha. I went through an hour uploading my favorite team.. orlando magic 15-16 and having to create half the players and saved it without realizing I had the classic teams file loaded so now pretty much all of the players have pink heads as it just loaded classics so I guess I gotta start from scratch again :/ lol

crb316 did you already tried this.? is there a crash problem ? i want to add the chicago bulls 95-96 team .so if this work`s with no crash that will be great.
