lol seriously? how about wade's drive to the basket on Porzingis set up on a hesitation but the rook recovers and blocks his shot. or Ro-Lo's up/under and the foul on whiteside
Fri Jan 08, 2016 1:51 pm
I was trying to stay positive and focus on bright side which was Whiteside but thanks for the reminder that I need to be having a shitty day.
Yeah, in fact I've never seen more embarrassing BA for Wade in his entire career. That fall just did it for me.

Lol seriously posting that in the Knicks thread to make you feel better

We did, also loved that KP looked like he didn't need any backing up lol

Loved the effort the Knicks showed in last night's loss to SA. Calderon had an open look, he just missed. Kudos to Carmelo for making the smart basketball play.
Knicks have a winnable stretch of games coming up. Time to put a winning streak together and get over .500.

Fisher makes no sense in this article....."We don't run plays".....WTH?

I think this part of the article sums it up nicely:
Fisher was reciting a principle of the triangle, which is a read-and-react offense with no playbook. The problem with Fisher’s statement, however, is that the Knicks’ applied game plan isn’t the free-for-all the coach is trying to sell to the media. They very clearly prefer the ball in the hands of two players not named Porzingis — Carmelo Anthony and Arron Affalo.
The stats tell the story here: During what is defined as clutch time — or when the score is within five points with five minutes or less remaining — Anthony has taken 47 shots this season (hitting 32% of them), Afflalo has taken 45 (41.3%) and Porzingis a meager 19 (47%).
As for Porzingas, he is just a rookie after all, and seemingly a hard worker with a good attitude. I'm not saying he'll necessarily become one of the league's best clutch performers, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility that he becomes a more dependable in the fourth quarter, as his career progresses.

Knicks are slip-slip-slipping out of the playoff picture, and KP has hit the rookie wall.
Fri Feb 05, 2016 7:55 am
They definitely need to get on a run if they want to stay in contention. The East has improved, it looks like the top eight might all be .500 or better by the end of the season.

Knicks are hard to watch right now, the roster just doesn't work well together and I think we should start to look at some trade options.
Iam fine with AA/KS/O'Quinn/Galloway/Lance/D - Will/Jose/Sasha/Lou all being traded.

Carmelo Anthony trade options:

Carmelo has been declining fast. I would trade him asap. That no trade clause but if he's somehow convinced, I'd trade him for anything.
But I don't think the Clips will give up Griffin.

With that contract and the fact he has a no trade clause in that contract it is going to be very hard to find a home for Melo that he would agree too.

According to WFAN sports radio, Fisher is OUT as Knicks coach!
Tue Feb 09, 2016 3:13 am
Yes!!
Normally I say the coach is the scapegoat but Fisher really doesn't know his X's and O's at all and he gets out coached in close games to often.
Hopefully Rambis can get more out of this roster than Fisher could.

I hope Matt Barnes gets to beat him up without getting punished for it now
Tue Feb 09, 2016 4:40 pm
Seriously?
Also, pretty sure he'd still be punished.

Knicks are slipping back into being a circus again, Andrew. No matter who's in charge, they never get it right. It's been that way for the past 15 years.
I bet you Phil opts out after the season.
Thu Feb 11, 2016 8:24 am
A return to the Lakers perhaps, this time in the front office?
Thu Feb 11, 2016 5:27 pm
I wouldn't be surprised if Phil bolted for LA with the recent changes in front office there and Jackson having a way out of NY.
Word on the street is Phil leaves for LA next year, signs either KD (providing he signs 1 more year in OKC) or Westbrook then he hires Luke Walton to coach.
Knicks even with KP are a mess right now.
Thu Feb 11, 2016 11:44 pm
Knicks have no perimeter defense.
Fri Feb 12, 2016 8:10 pm
Zero...
Biggest problem that needs addressing imo
Sat Feb 13, 2016 1:35 am
do you guys think derrick williams and afflalo pick their up their respective player options?? knicks could be a major player in free agency if neither do. or would you rather have them opt in and wait for the following offseason to land the big fish??
Sat Feb 13, 2016 3:51 am
Affalo will but I don't see Williams doing so, think he can get more money and knows it
Mon Feb 29, 2016 11:57 pm
Season's OVA....despite my frustrations with Jackson, we have to believe that Phil will eventually turn this roster around. What other choice do we have....Dolan's flunkies Allan Houston and Steve Mills making personnel decisions? That would be worse IMO.
For most of the past 15 years, this franchise just can't get it right.......un-friggin-believable...
