Mascot?

Would it nice if there is Team Mascot in the game? It would make it more interesting and more realistic! What doyou guys think?

Yeah they should add that to the game, but I understand that they have been very busy with making all those player models from scrap, addign the Slam Dunk Contest, freestyle and stuff like that. We might see it when there is less to improve in the game.

I don't think it really adds much realism, only superficial detail. I can live without it, but if they put mascots in the game I could live with them too.

I'd rather them not put any effort into mascots or anything small like that and keep working on realistic gameplay and physics because what would the mascot do? Just like stand there and clap or jump or something?

EDIT: and how would it make the game more interesting??? ESPN had a couple mascots and it didnt make anything more interesting.

Having mascots running around the court with lots of girls would be very cool....but EA needs to focus on the gameplay now, hope to see mascots in the future.

honestly, if they are gonna spend time working on some new glitz i would rather them reintroduce the halftime where it showed other games around the league.

ya i remember in... i think it was NHL 92 or 93, when you were doing a playoffs, at the end of the second period, it would do highlights of goals in all the other games... that was liek 11 years ago and it was sweet as hell

dude if there was a mascot in every game that would make it REALLY cool, because i got this dude that comes over and plays with me on 04, and hes really funny so im sure he would like it. plus i think people connect with mascots really well
