is 2k really banning hackers ive seen in steam discussions and people are freaking out
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =538735210thats just an example and ive also heard their a way to make another account and that may suck if that possible but so far just wondering LEFTOS IS THIS TRUE?
Wed Oct 21, 2015 7:24 am
Well, if people are getting banned and have the screenshots to prove it, I'd suggest that it's true.

Wow, that's awesome. But how do they figure out who's hacking? At this point, I think some 99 guys are legit. Not so much on Day 1-10.

Assuming that's what's happening, and it isn't some other violation of the Terms of Service, I'm guessing there's some tell-tale signs on their accounts.

Beautiful.

I guess it's amount of upgrades available\spent, history of VC transaction etc. For example if someone played only few games in MC and is 99 ovl - he is obviously cheater. Or characters with all maxed up attributes (all attributes are capped depends on position\anthropometry). I guess this type of players will be banned first. In second wave can be banned players that using different types of exploits (like Paddle90) but in this cases they need some kind of investigations.
Another question whether using for MP real player's face is violated or not. Cuz this is just cosmetic improvement that doesn't make any gameplay profit.
Anyway this is awesome news!!! Maybe sometime The Park\Pro-AM can be pretty playable.

I think 2k snuck something like a cheat detector thing when they updated it and maybe they were collecting data after that and when they have enough proof, wham. BAN HAMMER
Wed Oct 21, 2015 5:48 pm
Finally! Great news for PC gamers. Now it is possible to play some real ball

Great news for anyone who wants to play the game fairly.

And here comes the work-around cheese...
http://www.nba2k.org/2015/10/nba-2k16-h ... nline.htmlHow To Get Unbanned From NBA 2K16 Online Go to
https://www.nba2k.com/ and click the "Sign In" link at the top right corner of the page.
Connect with your Steam, Xbox Live, or PSN account.
Go to "My Account".
Click the "remove all accounts" button and wait for the confirmation message that says "Your 2K account has been removed".
Play NBA 2K16. At this point, you will be asked to create a new MyPlayer. You can skip this process because you will still have your old Myplayer.
From the main, select "Connect".
Enter your date of birth, agree to the end user license agreement and privacy policy.
Enter your old e-mail address and continue.
Congrats! You can finally play online games again (MyPark, MyTeam, 2K Pro-Am, etc).
Ain't that some bullshit?

If you're so upset about this workaround, why the fuck would you post it yourself...?
Thu Oct 22, 2015 9:44 am
Yeah, that workaround ain't lasting long.

LMAO TBM. Following your example, why the fuck wouldn't I?
Maybe I did it to show that 2K's effort, as welcomed as it was by many of us, has already been defeated...that something deeper must be done in order to effectively ban the hackers. To make others aware that despite 2K's efforts, the hackers will still be there and that MyPark and Pro-AM is still going to have plenty of bullshit cheaters around. So yeah... That's why.
You really should try to be nicer to people around here. You're miserable lately. I'm relatively new to posting here, but a lot of your recent posts have some level of vitriol in them....

There's a big difference in letting people know that there's a workaround and actually posting the detailed instructions on how to do it for all the hackers to see.
Thu Oct 22, 2015 10:38 am
Seriously, TBM? What you said comes across to me as though you may actually think the hackers don't have access to search engines and websites other than this one...as though this is their sole source for information.
I found it without searching just by loading that site's home page. It's right at the top. Maybe that site's not of the caliber/popularity of OperationSports or NLSC, but it's a commonly-visited site for plenty of NBA2K fans.
No one was going to believe me if I just said, "There's a work-around for the bans. I saw it on another site," without any proof it exists.
Just go ahead and report it to Andrew and ask him to edit/remove my post if you must. As I said earlier, my purpose was to expose the work-around...to make others aware that the bans are currently being circumvented.
Lastly, since I haven't said it clearly and plainly, I do not support hacking, nor do I support circumventing a ban.
Have a nice day.

I agree with TBM... I wasnt aware of this workaround till you posted it. if i wanted to be lazy and not look around for the workaroud, you just given a reason to be. there was not point posting the detail info, or even telling us there is a workaround

Have you seen the Steam threads? Cry babies everywhere lol. Some legitimate complaints but many cry babies also.

Andrew's new favorite gif?

Anyway, the discussion is kinda pointless, because like Leftos said, it ain't gonna be usable for long. I think they should have a database of the banned accounts, so I guess they can re-ban them?
Thu Oct 22, 2015 7:29 pm
It's every NLSC'ers favourite gif.

Until I run it into the ground. And probably, even then.

I really hope you guys from 2k patch that thing called Cheat Engine once for all in the coming patch, and of course ban people who used CE to get millions of VC and non legit 99 OVR players...However they still can use family share on steam to play the game but then they must start from beginning...Almost every player who got ban used that family share on Steam
