Super sampling and intros?

Sun Oct 04, 2015 7:56 am

Should I set super sampling to 0 or 1? 2 lets my FPS drop to 12...I have an i5-2500k 3,2ghz, 8 GB Ram, ATI R9 280 3 GB...the game runs with 60 FPS in-game maxed out (msaa 8, quality 16...) but the intros and pregame show stutter but that's normal as far as I've read.

My second question: Are the intros random or can I choose if I want to see the player introduction with names and show, the anthem or just the names of players without a show?

I have a similar setup (i5-4670K + R9 280X) and set my AA to 4 / 8 and SS to 2 (or most recently to 1) and I get no stutter during intros or replay highlights. With AA set to 8/16, they had a little stutter, but not much.

I'm using the 15.7.1 Catalyst driver package on Win 7. How about you?

As for the 2nd question, they appear to be random to me, but I don't know for certain.

Thanks. I use 15.20. ... the latest update.

supersampling is only for those who have 4gb+ vram.

Not necessarily, Ballyoop. Disabling or reducing other VRAM-consuming graphics settings can allow enough memory availability on 3GB cards (which both Leander and I have) to enable it. I did it by reducing AA level(s) and disabling other effects, much like I stated previously.

0 and 1 are the same exact setting in 2K16.
