I can confirm even if subs, POE and all the coaching stuff is set on manual, the coach makes subs or changes POE sometimes.

Not sure anyone noticed but now there's 16:10 native support. No more stretching or black bars.

Am I not going to get these updates if my game isn't activated? I was on this game all night last night and I never got this update.

Leftos, 2k really needs to make it easier for people to activate the product, that is a simple first step that should happen right after we install the game.

Hopefully the next update though (If I can have it) includes stopping the unrealistic forced collisions on drives, it ruins the whole flow of the game, and hopefully fixes the unnecessary hesitation movements by ballhandlers that you the user is not doing.

Steam never asked me for mine, either, but in order to claim all my pre-order and MJ Edition stuff, I had to enter the game Key as a Locker Code. When I did that, I got my bonus VC and the MJ apparel.

Seriously! 2K should be WAY more open with its supporters when it comes to this sort of stuff. Just make public what was fixed, as well as what is in the pipeline to be fixed/changed.

This patch has not been very nice to me at all.

  • No longer get hand-off icon.
  • Get a black box that covers 1/3 of screen during MyCareer intro and cutscenes.
  • Unable to see arenas when editing in Team Relocation.
  • Overall framerate drop (kinda hard to demonstrate difference post-patch).
  • When running 2560x1080, loading game results in res setting to 1152x864, does not remember previous settingIf you turn Aspect Ratio Correction OFF it works fine and looks like 21:9 is working properly now too

For those of you seeing a black box or black bars after the patch, can you please PM me a screenshot and your VideoSettings.cfg file?

It's not my job to post the patch notes. I've reported the fact to the appropriate people but I can't do anything beyond that.

Thanks for passing our requests for transparency regarding updates/patches to the appropriate people, Leftos. Please understand that in this day and age, many people feel that sort of transparency should be a given, not something for which we should have to gripe about in order to see a result.

P.S. Posterizing you and Mike Wang in High School was awesome! And I was surprised to see one of the 'Nova players with your digital likeness.

Well, you could always have changelogs like these.

I was seeing a black box, but I am no longer seeing that. Since the patch however, the menus also were messed up... they are cutoff at the top and bottom of the screen (regardless of resolution, or windowed/fullscreen mode). Images and settings attached.

I still don't see any sign of a patch on Steam. There's no indication a download or application of patch happened.

How do I know if the patch was applied?

You can't run a Steam title that's not up to date. Well you can but you have to be offline before the update was rolled out and you have to stay offline.

The update auto installed? Shouldn't there be some log I can see?

There would be if 2K actually bothered to do that sort of thing...hence this entire thread.
