Questions about online

1) Played online with a random opponent. My graphics settings were not used...and vsync was turned off...screen tearing, ugly to look at and play.
2) What can you do about running and gunning? I want to play realistic basketball. My opponent had the Cavs...all he did was drive with Lebron...after halftime I was bored and did the same...with Carmelo Anthony. It's stupid! Just press turbo and drive...you either dunk or get free throws. Only once did he block my attempt and the ball sailed to the 3pt line where one of my players caught it. This ain't NBA Jam, is is?

If you were getting screen tearing, you know that's why vsync was invented in the first place, right? Why would you have it off if you have screen tearing?

It is on in the game options. Everything look's great. It was only off in this online game and I don't know why...
