No off-ball cuts this year really disappointing. Moving without the ball is a lost art.

I played only few games because im still waiting for patch and i borrow my friend steam account to test new 2k game.

First of all i think game pad is laggy. There is no chance to play solid defence. Maaaybe Its possible to Fix this via sliders by lowering quickness for cpu. Its probably immposible to fix because it wasnt fixed in 2k15.

Next thing. Matchups are real bad. For some reason, sg defend sf, sf defend sg. I played two games. Warriors vs Cavs. In both games klay played against lbj and barnes against shump. I saw the same bug in next games.

Next. It was already mentioned. Fatigue is not working, even with 0 or 100 in sliders. Players have 95 energy after 6minutes without timeout.

I had one freeze and nba2k16 app stopped respond. No ctd for now.

Cutscenes are still nightmare.

Cpu cant block.

I think blocking is a problem in the game which I am just not sure if sliders will fix it, to me it's more about button response speed as even with the slider right up you can press the block button but the defender just won't jump as if the animation for the offensive player is to strong.

One thing I do like as I am editing rosters and sliders is the playlist this year having such a wide mix of different types of music.

It's very refreshing.

Two things that do bug me about this game is that on 12 min quarters the cpu STILL does a "Platoon" sub of 4-5 guys at a time, not happy to see that back again.

Also they really messed up subbing on the fly this year imo it's not easy to make a quick sub without changing your whole lineup or am I doing something wrong?

Feature? All SGs defend SF and all SFs defend SG? in every play? I think i dont like this feature.

edit: ok its not whole problem. Few sec ago i played against Rockets. First play no problem, all players matched up correct. Few plays later, Curry on Harden, Thompson on Beverley but this is not the end. Houston(cpu) slow half court offense. I see Thompson(this time) sticked to Lawson on their half court. Lawson with the ball, because i was close with Curry im trying to play against Lawson, Thompson is still sticked to Lawson, guess what, he is sticked to the end of this play, zero rotation in defense, bad matchups....thx 2k for this feature, this is something really new.

Here's an impression in the form of a description of the end of a game. It was CPU v CPU, All Star, 95-96 Jordan and the current Bulls vs current Cavs/

Down 3 with about 2 minutes remaining, Jordan dribbled the ball to the sideline. He stepped out of bounds. Cavs ball.

Cavs miss a 3. Bulls rebound.

Rose dribbles the ball towards the basket with Irving on his back. Rose dribbles the ball out of bounds at the baseline. Cavs ball.

Cavs miss a 2 points. Bulls rebound. They call a time out.

:20 remains on the clock. The Bulls inbound to MJ. He dribbles around the court until :12 remaining. He passes to Noah on the block, who passes to Rose at the FT line, who passes back to Jordan at the top of the arc with about :02 remaining. Jordan dribbles to beyond the three point line. Will he take a shot? No. He dribbles out the clock. Bulls lose.

Next time something like that happens try to record it. No idea if you are nvidia and can use shadowplay, or AMD's GVR, but video that can be forwarded along would be really helpful.

That kind of end game logic is rare but not uncommon, I have seen loads throughout the years of teams being down by 3 with less than 10secs on the clock and they take a 2 point jumper at the buzzer.

Yeah I've found it near impossible to watch 2ktv so far this year it feels like it needs to buff for 3 months before I can watch 5 mins of it.

I am impressed so far. Creating an own arena is fantastic and adjust minutes and stats to simulated minutes is very cool. I don't want to play 12 minutes per quarter...and now I can play 6 or even 4 and the stats are recalculated to real games.

When I play 5 min Quarters and simulate to 10 or 11 Minutes (because the cpu results are mostly realistic) my games end like 145-130 :? When i simulate to less than 10 minutes, cpu results will be too low.

I used it in the context of customer vs employee. What was posted was an impression, not a bug report.

Here's another impression.

In 2014-2015 Stephen Curry averaged 8.1 3 PT attempts per game. In the 2014-2015 Finals against Cleveland, he averaged 10 3 PT attempts per game.

2K16
20 CPU vs CPU Games, Cavs v Golden State: Currey averaged 1.6 3PT attempts per game.

Curry's regular season average low is 4.6 3 PT attempts per game. His playoff average low is 8.1 3 PT attempts per game.

It would be nice if there were separate ratings for sim and play. That way editing a player wouldn't impact sim stats and results.

Curry's stats in sim games are pretty good. Editing tendencies would change that.

I see your point but nothing ventured nothing gained I guess..

Unfortunately without video games it's very hard to get the same stats during sim compared to user play as the cpu is reckoning to what you do while the sim is going off actual stats

This is something small, but i wish they would have given the option to add/remove headbands.. this option existed in NBA 2K14 old gen and previous 2Ks before hand.. ever since 2k came to next gen, this option was removed. Also, adding/removing mouthguards would be good. There is a option to add gum chewing, even though I don't see the player actually chewing in game, they could add a mouthguard or headband option as well.. other than that and other bugs with the game (replays are jacked up on, spec. on PC,) this game is my fav 2K yet.

I don't like the commentary. I don't like the pre game, half time and post game show banter. Pre-recorded off the cuff remarks...ugh.

But the talk about the season, series, game in those shows is good. If the Bulls just beat the Cavs in a close game to take a 2-1 series lead, the guys on the show talk about last game going down to the wire and how Cleveland has to work hard to get to even in the series. It's situation specific. It makes sense.

I like the draft lottery format. I had the Lakers pick via a trade. It was projected to go 5th. Showing the predictions, giving some info about the projected team getting that slot, then showing the pick made it exciting. That's a good presentation.
