Someone posted in Operation Sports forums that they won ROY, he upgraded his player with the 75 max upgrades available (idk if with real VC or CE offline), got a 87-88avg player and the stats of all the simmed games + the 8 he played were good enough for a ROY award

You only play 8 games, but the rest of the games are simmed and do show up on your player card. I got to play some descent minutes, and I racked up some really good stats the first 4 games, and for some reason they were actually maintained throughout the simmed games which led to an insane rookie season. Got on al of the All NBA teams, and I even won the MVP Award as a 72 rated rookie...

I really hated the story. Spike Lee introduces the characters as unlikeable stereotypes, and then he tried to show up their issues by making them argue with each other. I mean, you dont care for Vic because you never get to bond with him, he is and asshole throughout the game, and you never really see the good side in him or get to understand his difficult childhood well enough. The game is like - oh, your gf is a gold digger, and your sister is, oh and Vic is being a dickhead. Wow. Lucky for them, the gameplay in the 2nd season is really good. Next year they should just throw the story out of the window, give us more college games to play, ability to select manager based upon our skills, VC or whatever, the better manager you get the better contracts and endorsment you get and that sort of stuff. I liked the 2k15 story alot more, it was more realistic, it was an underdog story, then you go through free agency, even that social media scandal is fun because they do add a little bit of tension in the cutscenes...
