Most of the info on NBA Live 15 is stuff we already know, but it'd be awesome if Street comes back at some point (a next gen Jam wouldn't go astray either). Obviously a long way from confirmation, but it's good to hear that it's something that's at least being discussed from time to time.

Guy come on..... IT"S NOT A NEW GAME FROM THE GROUND UP who you kidding, actually insulting our intelligence with this nonsense.... I literally had to pause vid right after he said that the type this..... who are they talking too when they say that shit ? fans of the series from back in the day, or a bunch of stupid kids who will fall for this crap ?
they don't even seem to know their core group of potential buyers it seems

Yeah "from the ground up" or "from scratch" is pretty much false I wish they'd stop saying stuff like that to emphasize how much they've improved. I lose a bit of respect every time I hear it. "Overhauled" would be more appropriate.

How Is It Not A Game Started From the Ground Up ? They've Been Starving For New Devs For The Longest Which Was One Of The Reasons For The Four Year Drought .... I Understand What You Mean Because They Honestly Started Where The Left Off Idea Wise But As Far As Priorities And Fresher Content Its from The Ground Up

Considering that they touched all the visuals and core gameplay mechanics, which like he said were the 2 main things that they worked on because Live 14 was obviously lacking in both areas, then it can be compared to a ground up experience. The moment you start changing core mechanics, AI has to be written/improved/changed/re-written or whatever, the animations need to be adjusted to fit that, as well as the controls. Those three things can make it a seem like a new game, and I think that is what they are referring to.

However, last time they did something like this, the name of the game was changed and they had to package another game with it to try and make it seem like a deal.

From the ground up means starting from nothing, from scratch. This would mean that they would have gotten rid of all the art assets, animation tech, gameplay systems, basically all the code gone and started again. I doubt this is the case and as I said before I understand they're phrasing it this way to emphasize how different/improved/vastly overhauled aspects of their game are.
