Guys, is there an option to turn down the DX to 10.1 instead of 11?

yes, that would be the Shader option in video settings.... if you set it to low I believe that's the DX 10, and the High is the 11.... I haven't gone through the setting myself but that would be my guess as that's how it works and looks in every other game I've ever played with that specific option

Im not happy about optimalization, but still there is possibility that i need to change some sets here and there.

So my laptop spec are

i5+gtx570+8gb of RAM.

with 1920x1024 i must set all medium+low on shaders lol. Whats the worst, whatever i set i cant get stable 60fps. I know people would love to have 50fps but this frame drop make this game really bad experience. I will try all on low and see if i can get 60fps. Lower some sets to medium make jerseys looks terrible. Vsync on ofc, i feel little stuttering also. I will try new drivers but i dont believe in magic, maybe you guys got some tips how to set it?

you guys must know that when you turn on v-sync, tripple buffering needs also to be turned "on".

but the fact is that game is beyond specs released by 2k sports, it doesn't run how it should. i think leftos, jaosming and other former members must hit us with some pc patch news that will solve optimization.

there is nothing you can do beyond that, it's up to game optimization.

last thing you can try is turinin off both triple buffering and v-sync and then try fps. after that try adaptive v-sync. if it's still the same, pc patch + new nvidia drivers is only solution. but for me 52 fps would be more than enough for sports game, it's not first person shooter.

also, one member wrote very good note in one of the threads - i don't know why, but 2k left too many different graphics related things in "special effects" option. they should have separate reflections, lighthing, haze effects, crowd effects in separate options so people can idividualy turn them on/off. putting ALL in ONE setting called "special effects" is very bad thing and very bad choice made.

maybe its because aax2 but still its an issue right? aax2 shouldnt affect this kind of problems.
turning off special effects make this game look flat and cartoon and i will risk opinion worst than modded 2k13/14
ofc animations and skin texture is waaaay better in 2k13/14

sko, you can't play this game at same AA/AF settings you played 2k13/2k14, that is something we all expected.

i don't think that issue with wade's head has anything to do with AA. people posted pics with all minimum, AA/AF completely off and there were no such issues.

what is your AF setting?

i think everyone with even recommended specs should not go further than 2x AA, 4x-8x AF.

You would be lucky to run 2K15 at low with a video card such as the GT 430 which has 1GB memory...
I have a GT 540M 2GB, I think i'd be able to barely run it at medium..

Getting between 50-60fps in broadcast view with dips from different views and camera pans. I have it on 1080p, textures(on medium) AA on 4, and special effects off. Everything else is on high.

I have the same specs except 8GB of RAM and a 6870 and it's unplayable for me, I get lag even at 60FPS

Same here (6GB RAM, 6870, Phenom x4 II 3,4ghz)

Just a reminder of the purpose of this thread, since it's starting to get overtaken with questions: "Post your PC specs and performance here"

That second part of the thread title is important; this thread is for posting your specs and an overview of how the game is performing for you. For general system requirements questions, including whether or not your PC will run the game, please use this thread: viewtopic.php?f=157&t=96230

Or, if you want to use this thread as a reference, look for people who have the same/similar specs to yours, and see what kind of performance they're getting.
