Talk about NBA 2K15 here.

So I have this problem that is ruining my 2K15 experience (I can't play it with enjoyment)
My 2K15 - fraps says its 60-59fps at all times, but i get a crazzy microstutter, it looks like I'm running at 15 fps. Blacktop mode doesn't have the stutter.
ANY SUGGESTIONS APPRECIATED!

I tried that. FRAPS says 60 fps even on near-max.

Yes! I know EXACTLY what you are talking about. It bugs me alot. I have NVIDIA btw. I think it is just poor optimization. Hopefully 2k fixes this in a quick patch.

I had this too.
try this out.
http://www.operationsports.com/forums/s ... stcount=65 turning off Supersampling by editing the settings file helped me tremendously. It has removed 90% of my stutter problems.

had this also. with max AA. but fraps fps counter plays 55-60 fps

Maybe the 40 gb download has something to do with it. I hear this game will tax the hell out of your resources if your computer isn't up to par.

nba 2k doesn't like amd cards... that's why i returned my radeon last year because of stutters at 60fps.
also amd v-sync doesn' work properly with all games. deal with it or wait new drivers/patch by 2k.

Same here. Game plays smooth (not 1080 and higher details since my card is a Radeon 7600HD) but randomly I get stuttering, the game freezes for a couple of seconds, ruining any experience.
Now testing this:
http://www.operationsports.com/forums/s ... stcount=65- Triple Buffering ON in Radeon options
- VSync enabled (Radeon and game)
- Open the videoconfig.cfg file that is located in %appdata%/NBA 2K15. There are some extra options there as Anisotropic (default at 16) and Supersampling (default is 1 that means ON). Set supersampling to 0. Also if you want to turn off completely AA you can set it to 0. Save file and set read-only.

i had in the previous games something similar.fraps was saying that i had 60 fps but there was stuttering and sloppy movements at times. After much thought i managed to track down that the game had the tedency to change refresh rate to 50 or 30hz.i locked the refresh rate at 60hz with radeon pro and no problem since.hope it helps

what??? why tha hella did they put supersamling AA on 1 by default??? it's something users should determine via gpu driver control panels, not 2k sports or the game itself. it can cause significant performance hit.

I don't get how the Aliasing is so bad in the Game, even though it has 4x MSAA and even Supersampling wtf?
Thu Oct 09, 2014 12:21 am
bump
Thu Oct 09, 2014 1:20 am
turn of the in game V-sync with the game and use dynamic refresh-rate with Radeon pro at 59, and turn on triple buffering
Thu Oct 09, 2014 2:05 am
guys any other preformance tips?
you think we will get a patch that fixes preformance issues?
Thu Oct 09, 2014 2:09 am
There might be some improvements. As well as new drivers might get you extra performance.
Thu Oct 09, 2014 10:00 am
I tried fresh update drivers, force v-sync, for triple buffering, dxtory limit 60 fps, supersampling disabled in nba 2k video settings file
ITS
STILL
THERE
Again, the game is smooth in blacktop mode or with classic teams/arenas. But otherwise I get constant 60 fps with microstuttering. Also, Catalyst Control Center and RadeonPro don't seem to work with this game for me.
