So you're saying that i can keep the texture quality on high and it's not going to cost me the performance?

Yes
I haven't tweaked AA and texture filtering yet - I have some generic settings forced via drivers, so I'll have to tinker with that to improve it.

Everything @max. PC specs:
MOBO: ASUS MAXIMUS GENE V (bios v.0903)
CPU: i5-3570K @4,6ghz (1,18 vcore) (cooled by Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme)
RAM: Samsung (10M378B5273DH0-CK0/CH9) 4gb x 4 @2400mhz (10-11-11-28)
SSD: Samsung 850 PRO 256GB
VGA: Zotac GTX 980
PSU: Corsair AX850

Not sure if you can tell the difference but starting with J.Hill print-screen I also had everything maxed out in nvidia control panel / 3d settings as well (until that point everything was on default and NBA 2k15 in game settings on max (except for AA quality which stays greyed out).

but can you tell from the screens I posted (until J.Hill picture) the difference between the GPU settings?

Until J. Hill picture I have only in-game video settings maxed out, but starting with J.Hill both the in-game video settings and nvidia control panel 3D settings are maxed out. I cannot really tell the difference. I also don't seem to experience any stuttering (I had some before I had vsync + triple buffering enabled) or maybe I just don't notice it. FRAPS shows constant.
