But I'm not going to sit here and try to convince you that someone at EA looked closely enough at Oladipo to see how he actually does his crossover and put it into the game like that, hahaahh..... I wish they had that type of attention to detail
I also think the way the knees and ankles bend and animate is off.
What I'm disputing is that this is some sort of Oladipo specific animation when I have seen this exact crossover in Live for years (does anyone else not recognize it?). I guess I can't say that EA is directly making this claim, and it could just be that Oladipo is wrong, but EA did re-tweet him.

A user on OS pointed out that the Wiggins dunk is the exact same animation from Live 06 on the PS2:

Not surprising given what O'Brien has already said about animations but definitely disappointing.
Haha, I knew it. There were a couple in Live 14 that were obviously old ones, too. I normally wouldn't care if there were a vast variety of animations being used, but with so many of the same animations happening, it makes it feel worse than gen 2.

I'll gladly welcome Live 06 contact animations, dunks and alike.
Love the graphics more than any previous game thus far. Love the grittiness about them.
Didn't like the Kobe layup bit. Maybe I'm just tired of seeing layups not go glass. But the part I hated the most about the trailer is Ross's defensive bumped jump. I just hate that form of "contact". It's the most ridiculous thing, you know? Like why would you jump just to look like a fool?
Love the celebrations, the flexing veins and whatnot. Looks dope. Jerseys moving pretty damn nice.
Dislike the Howard dunk. Mostly because for the effort put into it it doesn't seem like it warrants the sound it makes. Feel like it'd look better if he hung on the rim longer, yank it harder... Not much a fanatic over Chandler's contest either.
Dislike Blakes windmill. He's never done a one-handed windmill like that. I've never seen anyone do a windmill like that. The downward motion part's usually catered by both hands; waist and back up is the one-handed motion. But here he just does the entire gesture one-handed and his off arm looks out of place because of that. It's Griffin-like, I'll say that, the style, but not realistic. It also seems weak because of that ******* captain crunch rim sound and how slow the ball goes through. You'd think it'd shoot out the net.
Noah was the worse looking one in the trailer.
CP3 needs glasses.
Loved the defensive foot planting. People say Lillards cross looks stiff, I don't. Fits the situation, imo.
Loved the Dame poster. That collision. Not overly exaggerated and very smooth. And that mean mug, by gawd he killed 'em!
Out of 10 I'd give it a 7.9 from this.

Did Boston get new jerseys? They look super bright and glossy.

Who is the #10 guy from Nuggets?
If it's Arron Afflalo, he is made TOO DARK!
IDK if it's JJ Hickson.
What an exciting trailer.

Celtics and lakers jersey colors are off. Something is wrong with the animations and skins despite the "scanning" they did. Shoes are on point though.

Everyone looks too buff in the arms. Especially when they showed Westbrook. He looks way too ripped.

I disagree. One of my pet peeves with the 2k builds is everyone is build like sticks. Its just not realistic to have players like Russell Westbrook and Derrick Rose have such a skinny build when in actuality they are pretty jacked.

Exactly. Also, another thing ive seen around other forums and social networks is "Well joakim Noah looks too ripped"

No... no he doesn't.

Its one of those clips that go by really quickly near the end of the trailer

Looks improved, but damn there is no power dunk, rim didnt move.
This EA trailer wins again all 2k trailers(i know its nfl)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DL0W9AUCuYwe need this kind of nba trailers, it is fresh, not just over and over the same in game graphic cut scenes.

Graphics look much better, but the animations in the trailer looks similar to live 14..élite 11...etc!
It's early to say anything without seeing the gameplay of 5v5 ... but does not look good, I think! The ball changes of direction to get into the rim ... some animations in players, very strange things that are still present in the game! The trailer looks good, but I think that the gameplay will be better than the Live14, but with a lot of strange animations, and poorly linked to each other!
In any case, if the game was decent this year ... I think I'll give it a try! In Xbox1 because ... in PC does not come out this year ... doesn't it?
Cheers!

I loved this trailer. I was completely surprised that the game looked this good. Wish it was on pc.
The infamous wiggins dunk did appear to be an older animation, but as long as it is not a primary dunk animation or repeated many times it should be bearable.
I like the fact that this game has a different style compared to 2k. I'm optimistic about both games. With these graphics and EA's usual presentation, game should be pretty exciting right out the box. I hope that the commentary is not dull. That has been one area in the past with EA games that I have not like. I need commentators to sound like they are actually at the game and not in the recording studio.
But the graphics trailer did a great job showing the graphics.

Correct, PS4 and X1 only.

I swear some of those celebrations, fancy passes and dunks we see in the trailer are from some of the nba live pc games. They look better now because it's on ps4/x1 but they look no different which is not a bad thing. A lot of them are actually better than the ones in the newer NBA live games.

Too bad EA Scraps their animations instead of polishing them up and keeping them in the game like 2k. Guess that's why it seems like EA doesn't make as many as them.

well , I may have to give EA and Live a shot this year. 2K15 is gonna be my first choice just for myLeague but Yakkem didnt blow me away. This 50 sec trailer for Live made me giddy! It was fantastic.
- the Oladipo crossover looked like a carry and Derozan's hair needs to be updated.
IDK if I'll redbox or just get Live 15 used this year...

Its a pretty good looking trailer. Its funny that they have Lillard's pouting lips habit nailed pretty good.
