EA Access for X1 Will Get Live 15 Early

Basically its like a mesh of PS+ and that season pass they did on PS360. $5 a month or $30 a year, get some games to play, 10% discount on all EA things digitally, and early access to releases up to 5 days in advance. Xbox 1 only

meh. but it should be neat getting a lot of good community impressions of Live 15 before the PS4 version goes live (Y)

Is the Xbox 360 version still available? I could have sworn i heard a rumor that live is coming to last gen as well this year. If so hopefully they have early access as well and i can play it a bit.

there have been no announcements or rumors that Live 15 is coming out on PS360. Its PS4 and X1 only.

I'd rather go with EA themselves than someone trying to get clicks
Sean O’Brien is the Executive Producer for NBA LIVE 15, available October 7 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Sean has spent more than a decade working on basketball titles at EA SPORTS.

Not bad, but I'm comfortable with waiting the five extra days.

Especially when subscribers will only get a limited amount of time to play the game. As far as $60 a year to play several EA titles, it could be a good deal to those who buy more than one each year. However, if you ever want to stop subscribing and play an older game you had EAaccess to, you won't get to play it without buying it outright or resubscribing.

But I'm one of those type of people that can't get myself to play last year's game if the new one is out. The only time I've done that was with Live 10 when there was no other option

Sony's take http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=864590
“We evaluated the EA Access subscription offering and decided that it does not bring the kind of value PlayStation customers have come to expect,” a Sony representative told us via email. “PlayStation Plus memberships are up more than 200% since the launch of PlayStation 4, which shows that gamers are looking for memberships that offer a multitude of services, across various devices, for one low price. We don’t think asking our fans to pay an additional $5 a month for this EA-specific program represents good value to the PlayStation gamer.”
Our Take
While EA Access might not be coming to PS4, I wouldn’t necessarily count out the publisher’s games in PS Plus. There is still value for EA there, especially as those free-with-membership games have great potential to move the needle for DLC that has long since dropped down the sales chart.

This also doesn't mean that Sony can't change its mind later. If demand is great enough and value increases, EA Access could migrate over down the road. For now though, this is a clear statement that PS4 players shouldn't hold their breath for the program.
Opinions are my own.

In other words, Sony aren't getting a big enough slice of the pie.
