Does this mean next gen, Or a greedy 2k?

I'm leaning toward greedy 2k.

Once the October release date draws closer, those links will change to show the price drop to the usual $20-$30 range for PC (unless 2K is planning on giving us our usual stuff at double the price this year). Sorry to burst bubbles but we're not getting a new game on PC this time.

2K cares very little about the PC market. They care just enough to release a game each year (mostly because EA doesn't care at all), but we've had practically the same game for years now. I say practically because for the past two PC titles they've done very little other than remove game modes entirely and update rosters rather haphazardly.

Maybe I'm wrong and 2K has had a change of heart regarding their PC consumers. We'll see come October I suppose. I won't be holding my breath.

+1

and that's the reason of price X360 and PS3 are same 60$

They might just be $60 because they know that the install base is still massive on the PS360, IIRC Madden 06-08 were still $50 on the PS2 and the original Xbox 1 even though they were on the next gen consoles, Same with 2k6 and 2k7.

2K can't expect us PC users to place any pre-orders until we start to get some solid information about what we are buying. I don't think I'm alone in saying I'm not going to pay $60 for another last-gen port. If they do like they have done the past few years and release almost no information about the PC version, their PC sales are going to be way down. Last year every time Ronnie2K and LD2K was asked anything about the PC version they seemed to get annoyed or confused. Like they forgot there was a PC version. I just hope it doesn't end up being an afterthought again this year. $60 is a lot to pay for a 2K China side project.

I just want MyTeam on the PC version this year, if it's current gen or next gen I don't really care, but they've got to have stable online and MyTeam in the PC version of NBA 2K15. VC would also have to be in for this to happen.

$60 (and c'mon, the dollar sign is supposed to be BEFORE the number) is standard rate for consoles.
Hell, be glad it's just $60, over here it's $70 for old-gen and $80 for current generation. Funny enough, PC version is $55.

Wait didn't the preorder bonus say that PC was going to get the MyTeam Packs and the VC? So that kinda implies that the PC version has MyTeam and VC right? Unless they were just kidding and forgot to put "exluding PC".

It's it includes MyTeam I might preorder it :o

And when will the preorder for the online code for NBA 2k15 come out?

usually after it shows up in Steam's database - http://steamdb.info/search/?a=app&q=nba

It might be a bit, but don't worry, I'm sure they will still take preorders through October 6th :P
Opinions are my own.

It's a DVD, unless it has a Steam setup file inside it's obviously old-gen. I thought someone would've figured it out by now.

All modern PC games are released on 2-3 DVD's, Not many people have Blu-Ray drives in their PC's yet.

Yeah, I have no idea there was still a physical market around. I'll keep it on the low so a disappointment won't come.

Leftos! Please inform everyone at 2K: I will friggin BUY this game. I have never NOT purchased a PC copy of NBA 2k, Since 2K9 I have them ALL (minus 14 bc I got a new ps4 and...just had too.) :P This game could be 100 bucks for all I care. As long as it is NEXT GEN, Mod-able, ALL of the features are included, and lastly, the online servers WORK. Thank-You.

Both have the PC version at $60, which is a first ever since the series came to PC....even this early. No other information on the pages tho.

All formats are $60! Do you think it's possible that all formats will have the next-gen version? I think ps3 and 360 could handle it if it was downgraded a little. Thoughts!?

A PS4/X1 port to the PC seems like a possibility at the very least, though there's still no confirmation of that. I would assume the 360/PS3 version will definitely be minor upgrades on last year's release, with the game being phased out on those platforms within a few years.

The PS2/Xbox versions of Sports games were full price too for a few years after the 7th generation started, That doesn't mean anything.

Whether it's next-gen or not, i'm just happy there will be a PC version for 2k15. I completely skipped NBA2k14 this year due to it being too similar to NBA2k13 (and after playing the game every year the novelty finally wore off, i guess). So after having a year off i'm super excited to get back into the PC version for 2k15. I'm going to get back into creating fictional draft classes and such. Look out!

Don't get too excited if we are indeed getting another Xbox360 port then it'll be identical to 2K13 and 2K14.
