I definitely like: waiting for response than 2K.

looking good, looking good.

I'm excited but I need to see where the animations stand. It can look better for sure but if the animations are still stiff, then it's pointless.

I know I'm reeeeaally nit-picking but Magic's name font should be wider; Portland's font seems italic when it shouldn't and the number shouldn't touch the red stripe.

Live has stepped up.
I really really hope they found a way to make their animations not look awkward. I really wonder what they are doing wrong in that regard? 2K and Live both use mocap so I would have assumed animations wouldn't be a big factor between the two games but there is a distinct difference.

this looks promising. I hope the gameplay & animations are on point w/2k.
Then i'll say EA is back. Haha

No, it's a hint for the new cover boy

I agree the magic jersey is a little off but that shot clock is sexy

This looks on-par with last years 2k, definitely not ruling Live out yet.

Not all that impressed honestly. The aliasing is kinda ruining it for me. Brought my hype levels down from the awesome face screenshots we got earlier.

I'm liking what I'm seeing, a definite improvement after last year. The scanning tech would appear to have been put to good use.

As others have said though, the quality of animations - and responsiveness of the controls - is crucial, and will hopefully show a similar improvement. Sean did acknowledge responsiveness/smoothness of controls in his open letter though, so that's promising. But so far, so good. There's much the game needs to do to take some big strides forward, but some great first steps.

Iirc the "scanning" is just a rig with 12 DSLR cameras, right?

And the right software and artists to make good use of what they capture, yeah. In any case, they seem to be utilising it well.

Jaosming must be salivating over that celtics court... that actually looked like a photograph, wow.

That does look like the Blazers new court. Few months ago they held an online vote to pick a user submitted design for next year's court.

A big improvement all in all.

Certainly does appear to be a leak...or a sneak peek, at least.

Those are pretty nice, tbh i do prefer the one on the right and the middle one reminds me alot of the Raptors court.

I don't know why, but I don't like different colored wood.

iunno i think different color wood looks good when in wood inside the 3 point line is lighter than the outside imo

And is it me or does it look like they took a step back with the crowd detail?

They can make it as pretty as they want, but they had better have smoother animations. It is a task in and of itself to make things blend well together anywhere on the court but, they must do something about the jerkiness when an animation first initiates (dependent on ball position and ball-handler position).

Anti-aliasing usually hasn't been a problem with NBA live, heck, they had it before 2k sports did. I'm referring to titles such as Live 08/09 onward (in contrast, NBA 2k8/9 onward til NBA 2k12 or 13).

Player models... well, Live needs to abandon the skinny player concept. I'm not sure where they got it from but they need to increase their size of their model's anatomy to another level.
