Intro/Video Editing

Tue Apr 08, 2014 10:16 pm

So, I haven't had the time to do anything with the rosters this season and I'm not sure what I can manage moving forward, if anything at all. As such, it's been great to see a couple of other season update projects released this year.

I do still like to dabble a bit when I have a moment and I was looking to make a new intro from NBA Live 14's bootup, which you can see here on our YouTube channel:

I had a bit of a play around with the files based on the resources we have here:

...with mixed success. In short, nothing that turned out in a state that I'd want to release.

With all due respect to Nash_Bryant, the tutorial he uploaded includes tools, but no actual step-by-step guide (as far as I can see). I was wondering if anyone still patching NBA Live 08 with some experience in creating custom videos would be willing to write up a more detailed step-by-step guide (perhaps looyh, if you were the one who created the custom videos for the NBA LIVE 14 mod)? I'd probably give it another shot when I have time but if nothing else, it'd be a help for anyone else who wants to give it a try as well.

Generally speaking, as more people move on from patching the older games, knowledge and techniques do get lost. Therefore, it would be great if a few of the knowledgeable folks could share their wisdom with some tutorials and how-to guides for NBA Live. We'd certainly appreciate any help in expanding our resources. :)

Nice Resource there Andrew, me myself did intro's for our nba action 14 mod i could give this a try.

Also Nash_bryant later on did actually put a step by step guide on how to convert the videos thats what i followed to do the intro's,i just dont think it was in any tutorial (perhaps mabye in one of his threads?) but nonetheless i can make it as soon as i get home today after work.
