I was thinking about this mod I had a lil idea for the start-page (involves audio). I was thinking about doing this for total-conversion mods. Tell me what you think, guys

agolden's Hip Hop Soundtrack #3 has been released.
See first post for track listing and download link.
Features a group's magic before it became utter trash (Black Eyed Peas), instrumentals from the world's top DJs (Exile, Nujabes [R.I.P.] and J Dilla [R.I.P.]), pure classics (Common, Mos Def, Raekwon, AZ, Biggie), to newer works of art (Ed O.G. and 9th Wonder).
One last note, you make recognize KRS-One's spitting rhymes in this soundtrack from a recent NBA 2K commercial, its a bit odd that it wasn't included in 2K14's original soundtrack.
Anyways, feedback is encouraged!

agolden's Hip Hop Soundtrack - Step Into a World has been released! See the first post for track listing, video preview, and download link.
Basically it takes some of the nicest tracks from my previous 3 soundtrack mods and I enabled it so you get a dope custom welcome message every-time you start up your favorite total-conversion mod. I originally made this for myself but I though maybe some of you guys could use it.
Anyways, if there's a total conversion mod welcome intro that you want but is missing from this download, you are free to request

Have 6 NBA 2K14s right now each with different presentation (FOX, ESPN, NBATV, NBA on NBC, Euroleague, and NCAA)...been using a different one of your soundtracks for each one to mix it up...you got good taste man im enjoying the old school beats...even if I run out of sdtrks ill b sure to save anything you release to add later if things get stale. Thanks man...your sdtks add a lot for me to this game.

Thanks for the latest addition, agolden! I downloaded the pack and managed to compress it to a smaller size using 7-Zip, which I've uploaded to our server in place of the Mediafire link for safekeeping.

Great, I guess I don't use 7-Zip to its full compression capability

Hey guys. I finally have some time on my hands.
I plan on releasing a proper Windows Installer for V4 of March Madness 2K14 as well as a sample script that I made and a tutorial on how modders can make their own installers from my script.
Recently, I've been "brainstorming" just as a thing to do when I'm bored at work.
This summer (or maybe even earlier if I get the time), I am considering making small theme packs for NBA cities. Basically, I would make a soundtrack file for your favorite team featuring mainly Hip-Hop songs from that city and about that city. While you may easily get the point that the song Crooklyn Dodgers would be in the Brooklyn Nets soundtrack, teams like Toronto may be harder to do with my somewhat limited music knowledge. By working on this project, I can explore the underground scene that these smaller markets possess - which I think would be quite fun.
Similarly, making the custom loading theme for games using that team's home broadcast theme should be easy enough, time permitting.
Along with the soundtrack I was considering asking permission to include title screens from the talented modders across the community (Vince Carter title screen for the Raptors theme pack, etc). And if I had more time on my hands I could make simple edits to the SJ Reign global and add in team logos to where normally the 2k logo would be.
All in all, hopefully the dream final result would be theme packs for every NBA city....
Another idea I had would be to make a female-rappers only soundtrack for the WNBA mod TGSoGood released. Also I like the French Hip-Hop scene with guys like Exile and MC Solaar, so I may end up making a soundtrack file for LNB 2K14 - stuff like that.
I do take requests if you want a soundtrack for your total-conversion mod (PBA 2K14 has requested), but I can't guarantee anything. As in the case of PBA 2K14, at the time they asked I was very busy and I'm not into Filipino music. But hey, if I have lots of time on my hands I'll do those types of requests too. Hey I'll even take requests if you're not making a mod yourself - but keep it limited to ideas, not demands. I'm doing this stuff as something I can screw around with, not particularly for the community (although I love you guys).
Editing commentary and crowd sounds have been something I've been trying to do but simply the NBA 2K Audio Tool is not compatible with those files. If there's another way, I will certainly edit team commentary names (from Clippers to UCLA using K Harlan's voice), and replacing in-game timeout music, etc.
Oh yeah and I plan on making a lot of gameplay videos this summer of all the mods from around the NLSC, like how I did for HighSchoolHoops and UBR a couple months ago. Maybe even some live-streams now that I have better internet service.
IDK what will happen, I'm just having fun brainstorming. Feel free to run with these ideas.
Peace!

Update, see first post for file link and video preview:
A new file. NBA Jam Arcade Audio Theme when you launch up a game in NBA 2K14. I made this in mind for bigh0rt's latest mod, NBA JAM 2K14: He's on Fire.
Also, since I realize some people have very poor internet and can't download bigh0rt's fantastic March Madness 2K14 super-mod, or at least any version since its first official V1 release when my fight songs jukebox file was first included, well.... you can now just individually download my fight song juxebox file from here. Obviously, if you already have any version of March Madness 2K14 since V1, you do not need to download that fight song mod, of course. Most importantly, this is for documentation purposes in case bigh0rt's March Madness mod still can't be downloaded from mediafire 5 years from now, haha.
