sort by duration, they are longer songs so it will be easier to find
text editing is not free in RED MC, most expensive license there is iirc.

move the file to your documents, desktop, or root C:\ drive. And get your windows user account to have some administrative abilities to edit files within program files.

Hey, Leftos. You make some great stuff for the community, thank you for that. I was really excited to use the tool to replace the dreadfully awful music in 2K13, but it always gives me an error. When I open the program, I press the "Browse" button next to the "NBA 2K Audio File" box but the program crashes and this is what is in the error log.

I've tried uninstalling the .NET Framework and installing it again. I did that twice, but it changed nothing. I'm running on Windows 7 64bit. If you need further information on my system, please let me know. I would very much like to use this tool. Thank you.

has anyone made a full audio mod that changes anything besides the jukebox? I just realized today that you can edit all those thousands of sounds in the eventmusic, but I wouldn't even know where to begin to tackle a project like that. it would be cool to have real network themes replace the 2k sports theme for commercials and adverts, etc.

Hey can you please upload the original jukeboxmusic.bin? I messed up mine. Didn't notice the "Only allows the user to replace songs that are longer than the user-selected song; any remaining duration is automatically filled with silence"

Nope, uploading original files is against the rules. There's a stickied thread in the Patching Help & Requests section that explains how to restore the original files from your disc (or on Steam, if that's where you bought the game).

Not entirely accurate. It doesn't work for eventmusic.bin which kinda sucks seeing as that's where all the in game music is. when you try and add clips they just skip.

I am one of the modders over at mvpmods.com for mlb 2k12. I was really hoping this would work for mlb but I am not having any luck. It worked just fine for the nba 2k games for me. The MLB 2K12 jukeboxmusic.bin file loads fine and I can see the long list (12 tracks total) and there durations. However when I extract music files or attempt listening to them I just hear screeching noises. Does anyone have any suggestions or familiar with the file structure?

I just tried this tool with NBA 2K14. When i try to export any song, for example halftime report theme, while track's duration is close to 7min, only 15sec can be heard, rest is silence. Can we expext an update compatibility for NBA 2K14 soon?

Great work btw.

Leftos now works for 2K as a developer on the games, so he can't update or support this tool anymore.

Q: After my imported song/audio file ends, the game doesn't switch to the next one. How do I fix this?
A: Make sure that the file you're importing is only shorter than the original file by a few seconds, 2 at most. If it's not, use Audacity's Generate > Silence... to extend the song until its duration is 1 or 2 seconds less than the file you're trying to replace.

Are there any other reasons? I created my own jukebox and some songs much shorter than the original are also not switching? They work fine in in the 2K Beats section...
