Editing DBF file please help

I am trying to add a cyberface to Pat Burke but when I edit the 'PLAYERPKG' field from "true" to "fasle" the change doesn't stay when I close the program. I made changes before and had no problems but that was with noncreated players. What am I doing wrong?
