of course, they are all float values. Just with HoS, you get the actual values instead of 00 00 80 3F
Opinions are my own.

i DID backup my default tunedata.iff lol, for all the people telling me I should have backed it up first. Seems like anything I do, it gets stuck at the GOD-LIKE modified tunedata.iff from skidrow. What are the default casual sliders when you edit the tunedata.iff in HoS ? I took a look at my backed up tunedata.iff in HoS and the values seem to be right, mostly 0.5 tendencies. So in HoS I went and saved over the tunedata.iff in my 2k14 folder and deleted the "settings" file in my saves folder. Still no luck. Would anybody please help me with this?

hey guys, i just wanted to post to help others out. I figured out how to get the default slider back to the way they were, before modification.

1. Download this default tunedata.iff . Before proceeding, I would backup my current tunedata.iff file. Place MY tunedata.iff into your NBA 2k14 game folder.
http://limelinx[dot]com/e7n6u

2. Load up your MyCareer and then go into the game settings where you can change the Sliders to Default or Simulation. Just toggle it back and forth to Default and Simulation and it should overwrite the "Custom" slider that it was set on.

You can try downloading the unmodified tunedata.iff file that I posted up there, I just tried to open it now with HoS and it opened up without critical errors, I too, had that that critical error problem and it was because i didn't have an uncompressed tunedata.iff . Hope I helped.

edit: oh ya sycoticrealm. You should test this out first by extracting the tunedata.iff that I posted to your desktop first before you put it into your NBA 2k14 Folder.

Disregard my last comment I found a working decompressor and it let me load it up now it's time to play around with this.

Because anybody who purchases the game legally should possess them. We are very anti-piracy here.

you need to share the error for us to help, if it references a txt file, we need to know what that txt file says

Used NBA 2K12 Decompressor (file size goes from 1kb to 3kb), but HoS still won't load it. This is regardless of whether it's opened with or without admin privileges on Windows 7. Followed the instructions given here, but one issue maybe that even after putting the sliders folder into the /profile area, it didn't have a profile there as it showed in the video tutorial above. Created a profile, but it doesn't work.

the slider file (not folder, the file itself) needs to be in this folder tree
Documents\Hex on Steroids\Profiles\Sliders

of course you can rename the Sliders folder to whatever you want.

I got that much. the All In One file is in the Profiles\Sliders folder. Even so, when I attempt to open a decompressed file it never opens. Doesn't present an error, just goes back to an empty box with nothing loaded. Wondering if I'm missing a file or something needed for it atm.

You can try this too - NBA 2K12 IFF File Decompressor
