[Chinese] Fantasy Star Trainer by Aleczou(updated to v1.3)

Postby PeoplesChamp on Wed Oct 09, 2013 1:20 am

Latest version (v1.3) is available for download at the bottom of this post (attachment).

Aleczou has made it possible to change the tool's language to English. Sport.Swami has allegedly been helping Aleczou with translating the tool, so it should (at least) be partially translated, which is great news for everyone. Big shout out to him once again!

Changing the "English" value in Setting.ini to "1", will enable the English version of the trainer.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IMPORTANT - READ THIS:

Listen everyone. The reason why the trainer may be working buggy in some cases, is because those who are constantly connected to the 2k servers, will constantly be receiving new updates. These updates will be stored in your "Online Data" folder under C:\Users\(Useraccount)\AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2k14. These updates have obviously changed several memory addresses and have resulted in making the tool somewhat buggy.

This has been hinted before in this thread, but If you'd like to enjoy all the features of the trainer, make sure you're NOT CONNECTED to the servers and completely REMOVE the Online Data folder.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Credit goes to members spartanflame, TGsoGood, gammy, Lottos and to Sports.Swami and brump in particular for attempting to translate this great trainer. Without their efforts, we'd be stuck trying to figure out how to use this foreign tool/trainer. Big shout out and thanks to everyone contributing in this thread. (Y) ;)

The aforementioned members were kind enough to provide us with lots of goodies. Below you'll find several screenshots (including detailed descriptions of the screenshots) of translated tabs and options of the trainer.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Settings (first boot)

Will pop-up the first time you boot. Can be changed by clicking the Settings button on the home screen (see "Home Screen" image)

Image

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Settings error message

If you didn't fill out the settings right, you'll get this.

Image

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Home screen

After initial setup, this is what you'll see.

Image

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Players — 1. Player Info

Players section, first tab, "Player Info".

Sports.Swami: "Did most of this before I realized TGsoGood had done a majority of that screen already.
2 or 3 of the fields I was unsure of, so I cheated off his work rather than figure it out myself.
So credit for this one gets split between me and TGsoGood (of the NLSC forums).

Image

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Players — 2. Appearance (expanded)

Players section, 2nd tab, "Appearance".

Sports.Swami: "*23* of the 28 text fields for this section were already translated by TGsoGood (of the NLSC forums). I just had to confirm the ones that didn't have numerical values. That means **82%** of the credit belongs to him."

Image

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Players — 3. Statistics

These should all be self-explanatory; all would have numerical values, of course.
They single-season stats all have *1* value. You can't edit how many points they scored in 2003, you can only pick which player's year's stats you want your player to have.

Image

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Players — 4. Attributes

Sports.Swami: "Everything (except for the 2 pieces of blue text) was translated by spartanflame (of NLSC).
I just had to confirm it, which took all of 5 seconds each."

Image

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Players — 7. Signature

Translated by member Lottos. Very self-explanatory and easy to understand.

Image

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Players — 8. Contract

Translated by member Lottos. Incomplete thusfar, but the image should clear up nearly everything.

Image

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

GamePlay - Game Sliders

Self explanatory. Translated by member gammy and edited by member Lottos to fit into one image.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Translation completely re-done by member brump. Thanks to him and his great efforts. If anyone's willing to create screenshots out of his work, that would be great, but until then, his great work should suffice:

Third column: overall league rank, position rank, apparel [jersey 1, jersey 2, suit, street jersey 1, street jersey 2], scouted by "NBA scouting"[no, yes], hide birthday(?) [no, yes]

Now click on the second blue button "appearance", column left to right, top to bottom:
First column: Nickname, length of name(?, literally)[one letter, full name, 2 letters, 3 letters], order of name [American style, Chinese style (allow me, Yao Ming's surname is Yao, which comes first, while Steve Nash's surname/last name is Nash, which comes last; that difference in style)], photo, face substitution (probably), apply face substitution [yes, no], voice ID 1, voice ID 2, skin tone, muscle tone, eye color [blue, brown, green, hazel, amber, gray], body build [skinny, normal, fat, athletic], face type, hair style,

Further down: Durability, potential, emotion

TENDENCY, 5th blue button

Here the items follow the order at which they are presented in the game. Just go edit any player, go to the tendencies page and there you go. From top to bottom, left column to the right, the order is exactly that in the game. The blue words are the subtitles drive the lane or spot-up, pull-up or penetrate, set-up pre-dribble etc.

Blue button: All hot zone full

SIGNATURE MOVES, 7th blue button

Again the items here, top to bottom left to right, follows the order at which they are presented in Edit player section, except that the second part of the middle column are the "signature introductions", and the layup/dunk packages are on the right.

As far as I could tell, the content in the scroll-down menu also follow the same order it is presented in game.

4th column: Foul (blue), over the back, charging, blocking, reach-in, shooting, loose ball.

As usual, the left scroll down menus are User and the right ones CPU.

I guess that's the end of my part and the beginning of someone else who knows enough about programming to get the trainer to work. The purpose of me doing this is not that people can switch back and forth clumsily to check which is which, but that to allow someone to put everything together to make a working, english trainer just like last year. Let's hope we could have one soon. Peace.

Dude can't speak a lick of English. Rozj on the other hand knows a little bit of English, so his Turbo Trainer might get a translation just like last year.

Not sure what's so hard to grasp here. Once again, it's not the same tool. Unless I'm missing something, one is created by the well-known Aleczou (which is similar to last year's fantasy trainer) and the other tool that you're referring to is created by Alex_. They're two totally different persons.

There's not much to figure out about that the Turbo Editor. As far as I know from what Rozj has told me, thusfar, you can only modify sliders and complete trades. He's still working on adding extra features/options to the trainer of his.

This isn't the same tool. It does MC, Uniforms, Players, all that fun. And it actually loads the names from the roster, not just a list.

Adjusting the sliders with Rozj's tool worked outside of MyCareer, but I haven't tried adjusting them in MyCareer to be honest.

This isn't the same tool. It does MC, Uniforms, Players, all that fun. And it actually loads the names from the roster, not just a list.

Oh wow I stand correct Ok Peopleschamp I apologize (Y) , jao can you edit sliders with this one? sorry for asking I am at
work and cannot try it for my self (Y)

It's okay, I had to keep my cool not to lash out at you though, heh.

Anyway, the part where you can edit sliders doesn't seem to be fully functional yet from what I've seen so far. You can edit a bunch of things though, including some stuff in MyCareer.

I had a good amount if it translated; phrases, etc., somewhere in a .txt file on my old HDD.

For a while I was helping out Aleczou with translating it (though this was 2K12, I think...a ways back).

Thanks to google translate we could kinda communicate, I know the .txt files are somewhere on one of those old HDD's...somewhere. :?
My translation work may not be redistributed by anyone, at any place.
You may not download the translations, put them in an archive, and post it to ModdingWay under any circumstances.
I will do that when I have finished if it is necessary, and if I can convince Aleczou to use my translations in future releases, it likely won't be.
Only the original authors of the trainer may use my translations freely in their releases.

Unless I'm missing something, one is created by the well-known Aleczou (which is similar to last year's fantasy trainer) and the other tool that you're referring to is created by Alex_. They're two totally different persons.

Alright, so I've actually been able to change the sliders in MyCareer and it seems like the changes are sticking.

I used NBA 2K14 TurboEditer by ROZJ, here is what I did;
- Load up the editor, then click on the big NBA 2K14 logo, and click OK (or whatever it is) on the window that pops up
- Go to the second to last tab (with the basketball), on the right side click on the second button to get to the sliders (it appears that they are all in order)
- Now change the sliders to whatever you want them to be, and when you're done click on the SECOND button on the bottom to save your changes

I've played a game, and it at least seems that the changes are working perfectly. Even after exiting the game, starting it up again and loading up MyCareer the slider changes I made are still there in MyCareer. (Y)

EDIT: I've found an even quicker way of getting your preferred sliders in MyCareer;
Simply load up NBA 2K14, open up the trainer, go to the sliders. Then go into the game, load up your MyCareer, go back to the trainer and simply save the sliders.

Alright, using the trainer by Aleczou I've actually been able to freeze all of the settings! I'm still not sure how I managed to do that, but I'm sure I'll be able to replicate it at some point.

It's also not too difficult to figure out the basics of these nifty little tools. So far I've been able to change my sliders, rotation minutes, ratings, tendencies, position and pretty much anything else that has to do with a MyCareer player. Removing injuries from players is also possible, and thankfully very easy since the injuries listed in the tools are all in English.
