My Career Teammate Tendency Editing

I'm sure this is a really tall order. But does anyone know of a way or recall a method for 2k13 to edit teammates' tendencies as far as shot selection and preferred spots on the floor? Or is it a matter of having to edit the roster before starting a new Career?

It's super frustrating to miss out on assist opportunities because a wide open teammate 6 ft away from the tin decides to stop dribbling and pass out to a covered teammate or myself who is covered up.
