there is not

however, during the season the rookies are already in the roster, so you could try and find the rookies in the file by checking playertype and draft information and make changes there.

Is it possible to get Assistant Coach Joe Kuester to Cleveland Cavaliers for Assistant Coach role? I already added Mike Brown as Head Coach, but I can't find Kuester to add him as their Assistant. In the column of StAsstCoach there says 108 and it's Paul Pressey, so i don't know what should i type there to get Kuester.

Any advices?

Thanks

When I put Torn ACL to DRose after one day of simulation his injury ghoes to Sore Knee. How to fix that without going to Roster Editor after every simmed day? It's really annoying. It doesn't have to be Torn ACL injury. It can be whatever injury it is to prevent him from playing whole season...

you need to use the REDitor and a license to open the MC file.

This roster editor cannot edit names.

Hi Leftos,

I took the liberty to modify your Roster Editor and would like to share my changes, but first and foremost, I need your permission to release the modified version of your tool.

I'm exclusively a MyCareer player and except for the higher seasons, I want my game to reflect the real NBA season as much as possible. Because of this, I've always really hated it when the game trades players to other teams, even-though their real life counterparts have not been traded. When that happened in MyCareer, I would use your Roster Editor (awesome tool btw.) to undo the trades.

Well, after recently finding out that your tool is open source, I decided to automate the process by adding a feature in your Roster Editor that you can use to undo trades. With my changes, you can now select two MyCareer files, then the tool compares them and notes all players that have been traded. You can then choose the players that you want to "untrade" and after confirming, the players will be untraded. So you can use it to compare a backup of your MyCareer and the current one. The feature also automatically creates a backup of your MyCareer files before undoing any trades.

Note:
- Considering that I have very little time between full-time work, playing basketball (even though my season just ended), and private life, I made this the bare minimum, i.e just enough to satisfy my needs, with very little error checking and defensive measures. Mostly, I'm hoping that this can serve as a basis for others to improve the feature.
- My next aim will be to include another feature that would automatically update player stats, team stats and season standings to reflect the real nba player stats - at least for the first season. Not sure how it should work for other seasons, but haven't really thought about it in detail, so any ideas would be welcome.

T-Wave, feel free to release the updated version. I have no issue with that, and I love to see people continuing my work.

If you're familiar with how Git works, I'd rather you did a Pull Request on my GitHub repo so that I could merge your changes into the main codebase and allow others to grab them as well, instead of having two separate projects. In any case, since I won't be working on Roster Editor anymore, feel free to start your own fork if you want to. Whether you do the Pull Request is up to you.

PhilJackson, I'm not working on my game-specific tools anymore. If someone else picks up the project, maybe they'll be able to help you.

the columns with the * are not editable. You change that by editing what team that player is on through the teams tab

Oper roster with REDitor, copy ID's and Names from names.txt from Leftos Tool to Excel and then put names from REDitor to Excel and just copy those two columns to Names.txt and you have correct names.
