Freestyle with keyboard FINAL Solution

What combination of buttons I must use!
Could you show me with arrows on my pictures what kind of combination i must use!

I am not able to pull any fss moves it is just like the keyboard . if someone plz help me atleast and level 3 fss move with full combination plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

After recently updating my OS to Vista, my PPJoy no longer works. I had it all set up AWESOME and knew how to use it.
Problem is there's no support for PPjoy to Vista...

Doesn't anyone have a solution for this?
PLEASE let me know!

Hi all.
Just posting about PPJoy in NBA Live 08, but just a personal comment first, I think the Offense and Defense button combinations are horrid (I haven't read much of the forum so please don't flame lol) so good luck trying to find a good personal configuration =).

Anyway, if you follow the instructions of the original post, you're almost set. Just some differences in button functionality. (Note I'm using the same PPJoy.Jfg, it seems to function fine.)

Button 1 = Pro-hop/Rebound/Block
Button 2 = Turbo
Button 3 = Timeout/Intentional foul
Button 4 = Dunk/Steal
Button 5 = Direct Pass/Direct Switch
Button 6 = Shot/Take Charge
Button 7 = Pass/Switch Player
Button 8 = Alley-Oop/Take Charge
Button 9 = Backdown/"Defensive Assistant" (Switches to "nearest defender" and faces up/boxes out depending on ball situation)
Button 10 = Off ball
Button 11 = Pause
Button 12 = Crossover/Hotspots Display
Button 13-16 = Quick Plays (I'm not sure which button is assigned to which play, I use stock play-sets and just remember where pick and roll/post up are)

I think that covers those buttons. As for freestyle:
Z Axis - = Moving your Right Analogy Stick (RAS) Left
Z Axis + = Moving your RAS Right
Z Rotation - = Moving your RAS Forward
Z Rotation + = Moving your RAS Back

Anyway, have fun playing with it. I'm still fine tuning my own configuration so I'll upload and link it later.

um.. guys why is it that when i try to install ppjoy, my computer says "Windows cannot access specified device, path, or file...?"

Where do you save the .ini file? does it matter?

no it doesnt matter where you save the .ini file just let ppjoykey open when you play the game.. you can minimize it..

can you do a post play wit this?

I believe that's the idea.

Hey all. I am playing w/NBA Live 07 and use PPJoy- occasionally I use a real controller, but find I like the keyboard better (it allows me to occasionally play at work).

In any event, I have the PPJoy setup the way I like; unfortunately, I lost the Quick Plays on Off and Def. I can use the quick play in all other controller configs- keyboard and plug-in controllers. Here are the fixes I have tried:

1) On the first page of the PPJoy Config page, change the number of buttons from 12 to 16- thinking it was not reading buttons 13 – 16, which were the quick plays- and increasing the number of digitals to Digital 15

2) Deleting the ini and making a new file

3) Removing the Virtual Joystick and adding it again

4) Editing the first few lines of the PPJoy jpf file to read POV1 instead of POV0 and

5) Uninstalling, re-downloading, and reinstalling PPJoy.

None of these have worked. I have searched this forum and the EA forum for posts listing a similar problem, and found nothing.

dude just follow the tutorial step by step.... then if its working then you can make your own configuration...

But how to use the freestyle controls in slam dunk? I tried, but nothin... How to do 360 and other crazy dunk?
This freestyle keys (z axis z rotation..) can be use in the game and in the slam dunk competition, right?
And where can I find some list of the dunks and how to do them?
Ooh and how to change superstar type?

I configured the controller, loaded the .ini file, left the program working, NBA is recognising ppjoy (saved the .jfg file in the right place) and it let's me choose to play with the controller... But I can't do anything.

Ahh guys... I am a moderate computer user .., I even have created team shohoku mod for my nba live 07... but i did not use joysticks in pc games... ahh guys...
I followed all the instructions but whenever i load nba.ini and then configure ppjoy in nba live 07 .. it simply wont work... i tried to let artest run and do some inside scorer moves... but it just wont work and ron keeeps stationery..

Im a newbiee here,,so heyy every1....and my prob is that i installed ppjoy and followed all the instructions,,and the blue gamepad even appeared and i configured the control to ppjoy too....but nothing works,,i even loaded the .ini file...but nothing,,but when i tried the firestorm dual power 3 or wateva.,,it worked juz fine and i can do all the freaking sick moves,everything,it rocks!! But i cant do the turbo and pass!!!!help!!any1...??

put the ppjoy.jfg in your NBA LIVE folder in my documents\configs\
