SJ can you pls try to make a NBA LIve type graphics but bring the realism from 2k to it. Also is there anyway to make the forearms less sweaty. The players dry themselves off during timeouts and breaks maybe you can reset the sweat effect.

^ looking at that picture of Kobe I'm reminded of the floating jerseys.... so I know jersey tightness can be altered, but there is no way to get rid of them floating magically off the body like that ??

Can you explain what "nba type graphics" is?

^ the NBA live style graphics he's talking about is mostly the body types, they look more realistic in Live, it also helps that the player models move more fluently and naturally as well... if you're a first time 2K player coming from live, 2K movement will feel clunky and robotic for a while until you get used to it....
back to the body type difference, also there is no noticeably floating jerseys in Live as well... I was just mentioning that in my above post.... and the shoes look better in Live 10 than they do in 2K13... so does the rim and the net... here's a few pictures of Live 10.... look at that last picture of all the players, every one of those body types is perfect, I mean look at Yao Ming's calves, they're exactly like they are in real life..... only issue would have to be Rip Hamilton's broad shoulders, his shoulders are way off, way too big and juiced up... so some players are off, but for the most part the body types are dead on and they vary from player to player, unlike 2K

^ man i have mixed emotions about live 10.. net and rim looked great, shoes and accessories top notch, player builds hit and miss... look at Yao body, guy built like glen davis, his calves bigger than shaqs.... skin textures are like plastic dolls, they moved more free in live 10 i must say, but downfall to that, they all moved hunchbacked, live 10 just had great lighting, 2k11 destroys all in the area of graphics and shin textures
Sun Mar 24, 2013 3:30 am
^ yea agree with everything, especially the players feeling like hunchbacks, but that was just bad motion capture..... a teammate of mine actually has done motion capture for a few years here in the Burnaby EA studio, he was a streetball player, so a lot of those moves in the most recent Live titles are done by him
but yea Yao Ming does have huge legs in real life though, I remember that from watching him in a game live, like tree trunks.. too bad his ankles weren't built the same, damn shame he had to retire because of them..... Shaq actually for a guy his size has fairly small calves

"2k movement will feel clunky and robotic coming from nba live" lol. nothing about live is good, especially the player movements. only thing i'll give live is the court textures and court colors. sorry that gave me a chuckle.
Sj white players skin tone is still tan / reddish.

^ I don't know what you're chuckling about, but that's a common issue with Live players moving over to 2K.... the way players move in NBA Live is more streamlined and tighter feeling.... 2K feels looser and sloppier..... thats the best way I can describe it, and a lot of people have said the same thing, I'm not the only guy...
like if you go play the live 10 demo and shoot around in the gym, you'll notice the difference right away, the players are noticeably more responsive in Live.... Live 10 players still move tighter and more responsive than 2K13, especially from a dead stop.... gettin movin from a dead stop in 2K always sucked
