The Lakers' roster was all done by the computer, but it turned out quite interesting post-dwight! They even have Brand coming off the bench. Might try and get them to make a big trade for a PG, not sure who yet. Using a 48th pick, no matter how good he's doing, as your starting PG while Kobe is in the last year of his contract makes noooo sense.

Jennings is really putting his stamp on this team, he's brilliant. I think he's 3rd in the league in ppg right now! I don't expect it to last, and I get a little worried whenever he posts a small number of assists and a high volume of shots. But...

Jennings needs a little bit of work on consistency. Nice job limiting Kobe! Trey's performance was indeed surprising.

I like your ideas. There's already structures for season and career highs in NST, just didn't think to make sure to check after each box score and create a "facts" page in them for broken records. The milestones is a nice idea as well. I'll put them in my ToDo list, and hope to implement them soon enough.

Loving this dynasty man. The presentation is delightful! Makes me really excited about NST for 2k13 too! Any idea on when REDitor for 2k13 will be ready to go Leftos?

Jennings is playing really well. Looking to see Beal getting a bit more involved as the 6th man though (Y)

Reggie Williams was actually giving me a lot more punch off the bench, so I increased his minutes in the last game. Williams got injured in that game though, so Beal's gonna have to step it up.

It was a bricklaying contest tonight at KeyArena with both teams failing to find the bucket with any real rhythm.
Bradley Beal had his first game of real impact as a SuperSonic, coming off the bench and providing the hot hand that the team needed to seal the victory.

On a bad night, Jennings has 19 and 7 with .46 from the floor. Yeah... about that... :P

But I can see what you're saying. Quick look at the Box Score, .395 for the Sonics and .269 (!!!) from the Cavaliers, adding to 20 turnovers from each team? Can't have been a very fun game.

Yeah, it was definitely a game that the Cavs lost, rather than we won.

Jennings definitely pulled our side through, and the bigs thrashed the boards... but that didn't translate into points as much as I'd like! Super sloppy game.

Postby Pitar on Thu Feb 07, 2013 11:37 am

Stress Fracture, I'm rooting for the Rockets as well as I was playing them the previous season for the first couple months. They were doing really well then so I'm not sure what's up. I think they made the 8th seed in the west last season, so it's early days and I'm sure they'll see wins soon.

I'm going to take a closer look at each of the teams over the course of the first month to make sure the rosters aren't too wacky, they might be missing some pieces depending on what the AI has done.

I'm still not decided if I'll play with trades on or not. At the moment I'm leaving them on, but I will veto most of the terrible trades & occasionally make trades for other teams if I think it's necessary or makes a good story.

Oh, and we played the Pelicans in the first game of the season, but I didn't take a very clear screen of their uniforms. I made them based on a combination of the released logos & colours and Chris Giorgio's rename & redesign contest entry. Unfortunately the detail of the main logo on the jersey didn't survive compression very elegantly, and has some ugly artefacts. I'll get a better shot next time we meet up.

If anyone is interested in using either of these uniforms I'll release them. Bear in mind they are for 2k12. Not sure if compatible with 2k13.

SuperSonics move Aaron Brooks, Jimmer Fredette; receive John Henson

November 10, 2013

Image Image

Milwaukee fans might have a grudge against the new Seattle SuperSonics for snapping up Brandon Jennings in free agency last off-season, and may be lamenting what they could have received on the trade block if the organisation was intent on letting him go. There is clearly no such ill-will between the Bucks and Sonics organisations, however, as they both look to improve following a trade deal that sends Aaron Brooks and Jimmer Fredette to Milwaukee in exchange for 2nd team All-Rookie John Henson.

John Henson has recently been struggling coming off the bench in Milwaukee, and with the power forward position loaded with promising players in Ersan Ilyasova, 4th pick Sam Keller, and Mbah a Moute, there had been rumours that one of the four would be traded to partly solve the gaping hole left by Jenning's departure. They picked up Nate Robinson in the Off-Season, but now that he's temporarily out with a dislocated finger the team has sped up its plans to procure some talent at the point.

Meanwhile, 2010 most improved player Aaron Brooks and 2011 10th pick Jimmer Fredette clearly haven't been a part of the Sonic's plans; neither of the players have seen court time since the start of the season.

Kings and Seattle fans may be upset to receive a single young player in return for their previously starting point guard and prospect, and Bucks fans are divided over losing one of their most promising players in order to balance their roster.

Which part? I'm mostly just using open office calc and making spreadsheets. Actually, I'm not sure if this is the best way to do it (I'm new to it, isn't geared towards presentation). I get what data I can from Leftos' stat tracker so that once I've made the spreadsheets it's just a matter of taking screenshots and cropping... I'll admit, it's still taking me ages though. :( The whole season will be tough at this rate, but I'm hoping each update will be easier than the last once the process is all in place and I don't have to make any new tables.

Sebastian Telfair returns to where he began his NBA career.
Neither team was able to protect the ball in a sloppy game, but a clinical performance by Telfair directed the Trail Blazers towards a comfortable victory. He shot 5-5 from both the field and long range.
Damian Lillard is currently injured with a strained quad, and the team--lacking a real backup point guard heading into the season--signed Telfair in free agency.

Bucks don't seem to be good either from outside, nor in drawing fouls inside. Shouldn't be too hard for you to go up against them. Do they really have no proper Center? Is Drew Gooden the best they have? His numbers are terrible. Or is there a major injury?

Yeah, just noticed the 24 and 26 turnovers. What the hell was going on there? And it's not like the teams were stealing the ball from each other (11 steals each) which would at least make it slightly exciting, it seems most of them were silly mistakes.
